I suppose you got this topic all locked up. You complain that it doesn't work and when shown it works you complain about that.
Check the bolded. From the article in the OP:

Almost half of young, single, uninsured adults in 34 states could pay $50 or less a month for insurance through the online exchanges after receiving subsidies, according to a study released by the Department of Health and Human Services on Monday.
Does 'is' = 'could'?...served indeed

And no, Sickle cell doesn't generally follow the malaria pattern. Malaria is spread by mosquitoes. Any commonality between the two conditions is coincidental.
Nope, definitely have no idea what balanced polymorphism or balancing selection is. I'm not sure why you are pretending that you do. Sad.

Not so well for the rightful owner of that which is stolen.

We can be Godless and free. • “Social justice” through forced redistribution of wealth. • Silencing religious opinions counts as “diversity”. • Freedom without moral and personal responsibility. • Civilization can survive the intentional undermining of the family.

The second part is wrong and the explanation is crude, but this is the idea.

Ah, OK. Didn't know sickle cell was immune to malaria. Learned something new today.

I knew what it was, I didn't know that sickle cell anemia made you immune to malaria.

If you knew what it is, you would get the connection between selection for the heterozygous genotype in sickle-cell with respect to malaria. That is what it means.

Don't assume things on topics you do not understand. You wrote that "sickle-cell is entirely independent of malaria." How did you know that this was true at the time you wrote it? What were you thinking?

Lets get this website up and running to make it a lot easier to apply for these plans.
And yet the mathematics of Obamacare are dependent upon all these "young invincibles" being net payers into the program in order to reduce costs for everyone else..... ... Huh... Looks like we may not have thought the implications of all this all the way through....

You make that connection when it's known that the gentic disorder makes you immune to malria. Without that piece of information the comparison of the two conditions appears spurious. I was unaware that sickle cell makes you immune to malaria.

Have you ever made a statement and later found out your were missing a critical piece of information? I read your initial statement as sickle cell only existing in areas with malaria and that no "white countries" have high sickle-cell rates.

I wasn't referring to the OP. I was referring to Danahrea's post (post #33). Which the guy I responded to... that was the post he was referring to.
