    I should also mention I understand where you are coming from. I don't think you should pay for anything you don't want. If that is your decision, I think you should be able to buy a plan that doesn't cover those things.

    It lowers the premiums for said cadillac coverage compared to other cadillac coverage premiums. It does not lower the cadillac coverage premium below that of basics-only coverage. I still have to pay more for things I don't want because I'm being placed in a risk group in which I don't belong. I belong in the risk group of only other people who want basics only, not placed along with people who also want their car insurance to pay for fuel and oil.
