That's completely false. The ACA means paying lots more for insurance that is essentially worthless.

    No, that's your opinion.

Experience shows that the american people, as a whole, do not know how to choose the insurance that is right for them. If they did, then an inability to pay their medical bills would not be the leading cause of bankruptcy in the US
"Experience"? who's experience? Yours? What do you do for a living? (So that we may qualify your "experience") and even if as you say the American people don't know how to choose insurance coverage to meet their needs (insulting as that is) I would say that calls for an educational ad campaign, not putting the insurance system into chaos.

So your complaint is that under ACA, you're going to have to pay a greater share of your bills, and will no longer have to count on others to pay a share of your bills.
"others"? You mean like the insurance company I paid for the coverage used? Unless you pay for my insurance you might want to not go down this road. And yes, under the ACA, I will end up with a policy that covers roughly the same thing with a few extras I don't need, and my premium not only goes up (contrary to Obama's promise of lowering that) but, my deductible now is outrageous.

So yeah, I am (as most in my situation) are more than a little pissed that we were lied to by Obama.

100% true for most people and a great point to make. The "junk" health insurance does in fact now exist all because of Obama and the Dems.

So now you have to pay a greater share of your own expenses. My sympathies...

You speak for the entire nation do you?

So now you have to pay a greater share of your own expenses.
    Is that what was promised?

    My sympathies...
Don't need your pity, just a progressive that might possibly tell the truth from time to time, but then alas, they wouldn't be progressives would they?

I don't have to speak for the nation in order to cite historical facts

    Is that what was promised?
I don't recall any politician making any promises to you about your health care costs.

Not in the last 2 decades it hasn't. At least.
