Obama admin. knew millions could not keep their health insurance [W:610]

No, there isn't. And this was evident soon in Obama's first term...Eric Holder, Van Jones.... No experience in managing people, in hiring/firing. I don't think he's competent. I didn't vote for Obama the first time because his political beliefs are oppositional to mine, but I did hope, for the sake of our nation, that he would do a good job. I didn't vote for him the second time because he had demonstrated that he wasn't able to.

Thats how I understand it, too. The caveat is that the law doesn't "require" that insurance companies or policy holders change their policy. Any changes to the policy after March 2010 is at the sole discretion of the policy holder and insurance company. But once the change is made it no longer qualifies as a grandfather policy for the simple reason it's not the same policy anymore.

I think there's a real chance of losing a sgnificant portion of the minority vote over Obamascare.

Right, so why did they change? They chose to offer ACA compliant plans instead and that was THEIR decision.

Yes, but that conflicts with the law as written and passed in March of 2010. It was necessary to get healthy people into the exchanges to help hold down the costs for new entrants while increasing costs for others...
