Also delaying the individual mandate would be the dumbest thing that could be done with this law, worse than repealing it, since the individual mandate is a big part of what pays for the law in the first place. Its unpopular sure, but keeping your child on your insurance till he's 26, not being denied for pre-existing conditions, etc is not free.
What kind of ugly haters would be opposed to their fellow Americans finally having affordable health care?
Nazis or teabaggers or are they one in the same thing?
This is comical. The Republicans were demanding the mandate be delayed during the shutdown and all the libs kept sqwaking "settled law! settled law!" to everyone within earshot. Now two weeks later the Democrats begin mumbling about delaying the mandate. FORGET IT! If it's "settled law" it should be enacted as was stated when the bill when through Congress. Since when does the President have the power to just alter large aspects of major government bills as his whim!?
Two weeks ago the left demanded the law be enacted AS IS! The GOP should now demand the same thing: AS IS.

7 Senate Democrats support delay. So officially now the majority of Senators support delaying the mandate.

Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark., who like Shaheen is up for re-election in 2014, announced his support for the New Hampshire senator’s call to extend open enrollment in the exchanges and asked the administration to clarify how it would enforce the individual mandate.....snip~
