Did Hillary Clinton tip her hand on 2016 presidential run?

From what I have gathered in my reading, most Democrats do want to see Hillary Clinton run for president. Obama was about the first "black" president and no one can convince me he was ever vetted for the job. He won for the most part for his skin color and many were willing to vote for him for that reason alone. And Hillary will be the candidate that will work the masses in the same way only using gender this time. The Democrat party can not run on achievements for all their big ideas since FDR forward have proved to be total failures. Most of their policies were sold as "feel good" ideas to the masses with a minimum cost but as decades have shown, all have grown into these huge behemoth agencies that are always looking for more funding to sustain them. Which usually means tax the successful at a greater rate to pay for all the needed revenue to keep propping up failed policies. The reason for this is Democrats are always wanting to increase the benefits from their initial scope of what these programs were sold to the people. And at the same time the more they can "addict" those to government entitlements, they increase the loyalty to their party. The problem....we are running a trillion over what we take in each year and that turns into debt. It has to stop....yesterday.

I believe the definition is considered to narrow these days. Refers instead to those never involved actively on the field, but being war mongers.

Which isn't exactly something that applies to Hillary Clinton because there wasn't really much of an option for her to have seen combat ;)

who has a better shot than christie?

Christie has a shot, but the reps won't put him on the ticket. They see mittens as a failure because he was too centrist, and the reality is he got as many votes as he did because he was a centrist. They do not want to run another middle of the road candidate. they want to run a cruz. He is the hero of the wackydoodle haolf of the republican party. Christie will never make it with the wackydoodle half of the republican party, and the moderate parts have been whittled down into a minority. In order for christie to capture enough of the wackydoodles he would have to offend the moderates.

Things could change and the reps could regain control of their party from the wacky right without shedding their votes, but they are going to actually have to start doing that soon. It is sure as hell going to be big problems for them if the dems runs someone like hillary. If you have not learned you cannot rely on hate to win you an election when you run crappy candidates. It was a lesson learned by Kerry, McCain, and Romnifeller who all based their campaigns on the idea of hate of their opponent. You have to have something to run on. Obama ran his campaign on change and being the first black president. those were positive things to run on and they gave a reason for people to vote for him. If the reps run against hillary on we hate hillary and put a dumbass in as a sure thing hillary will eat them alive.

It really all depends on republicans learning something from the past 8 years, and they keep on rejecting any lessons.

Horse****. The voting trends did not substantially differ from the norm. An uptick of Democrat voter turnout is probably best attributed to the disastrous Bush presidency. People in 2008 were fed up with Republicans.

I don't think an opening to be able to serve in the field or otherwise is a requirement. Simply those that have no idea the realities of wars, warmongering, regardless of the reason for the ignorance.

Well, that's the only way to describe such thing. If I were to come up with the 'Good Old White Boy' network, I'd be called a racist. ;)

Oh, I think blacks fit into the Good Old Boy Network just fine. As long as there's a penis . . .

Hillary was out-of-line with this bash-Biden noise..
I much prefer Sen. Gillibrand but she won't be up until after her next Sen. election in 2018..

At this point, I just don't see anyone beating Christie, with a "normal" Republican governor as VP.

I can't believe that someone who shows so little personal discipline can be a decent leader. Just don't see it. But I recognize lots of others do.

Christie's Health bothers me..
Hence, I'd like another governor from the GOP like Sandoval and Martinez who have done a great job in their states as VP..

I remember a nice Christie quip at Dems..
We have a gender-gap here in NJ..
I'm up 28% with women.

Nope, not for me, not okay to be President. Perhaps skip him and go for the other two, though I'm unfamiliar and have no opinion of them at this time.

wake me up when she wins the Democratic Party Nomination because I don't think she can.

Hillary has been incompetent in every position she has held but I am afraid a lot of women who are clueless on her position on the issues and all the lies and bungling she has done and vote for her simply because she is a woman. Sad but true.

What do you think of Jeb Bush? I always thought the republicans choose the wrong Bush in 2000. He could deliver FL to the GOP and that would put a dent into the Democrats huge electoral advantage.

I am a huge GWB fan and I hope Jeb runs but I ddon't think he will.

You know the perfect match up in my world would be Nixon, the Democratic Governor from Missouri vs. Christie. Either of those two I could vote for. It would kind of like the Eisenhower-Stevenson matchup of 52 and 56. Regardless of who won, the country would be in good hands.

Deuce what happened is the "media" were so effective in "blaming Bush" for all things. They beat the drums of despair over the Iraq war every night. They accused our military of atrocities in Haditha. Democrats were lining up from Murtha to Kerry on every Sunday talk shows to do so. All these Democrats that agreed to go to war in Iraq on the intelligence known at the time all flipped flopped because they saw it as a "political" plus. And today not one soldier that was accused of atrocities in Haditha was convicted. What the Hell does that tell you? it should tell you the Democrat party will even sell out our military to gain a vote. People were fed up with Bush because of how the Media reported things. Unfortunately for Bush, he wasn't a conservative. Compassionate Conservative is code for Big Government spending. He pissed the base off of his party with his willingness to increase spending. If he would have cut spending the same time he cut taxes, he would have accomplished much.

Then you have this black man called Obama that talks about "hope and change". But unfortunately the uninformed masses didn't know exactly what all that "hope and change" really meant. They didn't know he was really talking about Socialism. Spread the wealth and all that jazz. So we went from Bush the "Compassionate Conservative" to Obama who loves Big Government even more. Bottom line .....it can't be sustained. Enough!

They are both still wet behind the ears Nationally but Martinez fit the right demographic to speak at the Republican Convention..
Sandoval is very popular in Nevada, so both of these governors could reverse the Western Three States that are Purple--CO, NM, NV..
Both bought into ACA right away and said it was for their state's citizens, as did Christie.

You can add Jeb to your list of VP candidates, especially with his link to a certain demographic..
He could turn Florida as well as NM, CO and NV..
I would venture that Paul Ryan delivered ZERO states as an unknown congressman, not even his WIZ.
I doubt it too.

I agree they chose the wrong Bush, but I don't think the country wants another Bush or another Clinton any time soon.

i don't know. I think Hillary is too old ala Biden. But new blood is probably what this country needs.

Ah, so a sex based conspiracy theory is possible but not a race based conspiracy theory.

Another great interview given by my adopted Senator from ND..
I still get her web-messages since I donated..she is the greatest, so folksy, in spite of liberal Dems hating her gun stances..
As she says, she does what she ran on, including ACA..

I know you're right on this one, but I can't afford to lose Gov. Nixon from Missouri.

But didn't you say, "who cares?" :)
