Parts of the right wing have become so disconnected from reality that it's almost comical. It quite literally alters their senses. You've all seen how some of the more rapid right-wingers will insist that Michelle Obama is a giant fat cow. They hate the President of the United States so much that it freaking alters their visual perception of his wife.

What part of my reply did you not understand? Yes I do have a few comments to push back at you with facts but I do not feel like going back and forth about race.

These numbers are similar on the best educated states as well. My point is this is not about race as you were implying.

Arrogance and laziness.....

As a whole, our children probably spend more time on social networks, video games, and watching TV than other kids around the world. The average household do not put the focus into education like other countries do. America is kind of like the jocks from Revenge of the Nerds. We think we are invincible and we do not feel like we can lose.

Also we let media and politicians tell us how to think because we are too lazy to think on our own. We continually fight each other over stupid things while the rest of the world just pass us by.

Our downfall is not going to be China or India or Russia. It is going to our ignorance.

There are gobs of college-degreed people roaming around bumping into walls at coffee shops at 11 a.m.

SUCCESSFUL college-educated people vote conservative by an overwhelming margin.

Education is not even half the equation. Hard work, character, perseverance, and ethics - sprinkled with formal education and experience - define a truly "educated" person.

Liberals tend to be generally useless, whether they hung around in college until they got a piece of paper or not.

Uh oh, that makes your statistic look kinda underwhelming. The vast majority of democrats are in fact white.

Tell me how is it we hear so much about blacks being negatively affectly by education issues, because they are liberal voters. So it must be a lie, and they are actually more educated than we are led to believe.

I work alongside them, do business with them, attend conferences with them, and generally run in their circles in multiple industries in 44 states. I have for years. The daily practices and belief structures among successful people doesn't vary much, and most of them put little stock or value in the college degrees they earned long before the real work started.

Liberals, on the other hand, treat their degrees like a finish line, expecting a coronation that never comes, which only embitters them into a stalemated and neverending woe-is-me hatred for those that outperform them. Their only recourse is to steal away other's success through government intervention.
 
I never realized dumber was a word. More dumb, mostly dumber, even dumbest....
 
After 8 pages, I still can't tell if we are discussing intelligence or education. It's very possible to have little education yet to be quite intelligent or successful (or both).

Some Americans are very dumb. Some Americans are not exactly dumb but their abilities have been impaired by computers. I try to do 50% of my math work on paper so I don't lose the skill. But even if I couldn't make change, it wouldn't mean I was dumb.

Certainly other countries out-educate us. But we have plenty of very smart people in America and that's why we continue to be the most influential country in the world despite our marginal publicx school system.

Political leans have to do with background and attitude, not "intelligence".

Seems to me that with the problems blacks are having in general with regards to education, and the posted stats saying that liberals are the most educated; well I see something wrong with this. And I'm not saying that having more college educated people (without looking at the type of education) is necessarily better. But what you people obviously have is a party of educated elites with a bunch of disadvantaged people. How else can explain it? The OP premise that "we have more educated people and therefore are a better group".
