lol since when did liberals outnumber conservatives? I thought you guys always like to cite the gallup poll that states only a quarter of the country is liberal.

Also interesting is that out of the four countries listed in the article all have either majority left-leaning or socialist parties. But hey don't let evidence get in the way of your partisan hackery we'd all be pretty disappointed.

Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

This is the price paid by being the most tolerant, politically correct country.

I am surprised to see how many American adults are incapable of doing even the most basic math problems.

I suppose creating a school system whose purpose is to babysit kids for parents and give teachers a paycheck doesn't result in the outcomes we want. Or maybe it does.

In regions, yes, this is still a largely conservative country. In population, not any more.

    You people screw like rabbits.

Actually conservatives are much more likely to reproduce due to religious beliefs and birth control disbeliefs.

Now compare a map of the US and see which lean the states are that have the highes illiteracy, poverty, and school drop out rates.

Compare that to which party generally supports education and jobs and votes accordingly.

So yes, make it a partisan issue because facts don't lie about why things are the way they are.
I call my own shots, largely based on an accumulation of data, and everyone knows it.

It is too bad the United States of America does not have an education system that can be examined to find out what is going wrong with it.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

Male illiteracy and unskilled labor in the United States was massive in a time that vastly predated the concept of political correctness.

Good luck finding a consensus, regardless.

Not coincidentally, liberals now outnumber conservatives and are winning more and more elections without any intellectual merit to their platform whatsoever. Campaign strategies have to be designed at a third-grade level these days.

Dark, scary days ahead with this worthless, brainless voting bloc running things.
One problem in your scenario erod.....demographics show that people with college degrees and higher tend to vote Democrat. It is the third-grade level voters that tend to vote with the Republicans.
