Oh, I did not argue. I just pointed out that you were jumping to wrong conclusions.

I really do not see the blackmail here. The President wants money and the guys that grant money said he could have it under conditions. That is not contortion. It is good practice.

Who would have expected them to wrong about something pertaining to the health care bill? They have had three YEARS to work on it, and from what we have been told they understand the American people and what we want. Guess they totally blew it on what would happen the first day, but other than that I'm sure they are spot on.

I haven't looked at the exchanges yet. I'm curious to see what we can get compared to what we have, but it's kind of a moot point considering how it will be shuffled by the time it actually works. I'm waiting on the final version so I can use it as a model for my business. I'm thinking I can send vehicle maintenance schedules to everyone in the county and then just go ahead and Bill them for the services whether they do them of not. It will be a generic service that will cover everything. So people with an automatic transmission will still pay for clutch replacement, people with a manual trans will still pay for fluid flushes. Everyone will pay for timing belt replacement whether they have one or not. There may be some who complain, but the schedule I send them will clearly state " it's for the children" so I'm sure they will comply. For those who won't I'll just steal their cars.

There is only one president who advocated amnesty and it was Republican president Reagan. No other president has given blanket forgiveness to illegal immigrant criminals.

So you think that if the House T's don't get what they want they can just stop the money till they do? The there would be no reason to have the other branches of Govt. since they would all be forced to do whatever the House wants no matter what it is. The next time the Dems have a House majority get ready for a assault weapons ban and strict gun control measures. other wise they won't give out a dime. You see it doesn't sound so good when the shoe is on the other foot.

Then they might as well ask for the resignation of the President and all Dems in Congress too while they are at it. Since it is in the Constitution that they can demand anything in order to fund the Govt.
Why don't they do that too?

Look it's not my problem you're not educated on how the Separation of Powers in this country works

I suggest you read The Constitution. You might learn something

    Good day to you

It doesn't sound so bad either. Obamadon'tcare is the only bill that I can recall that was passed into law without a single vote from the minority party in either chamber.

And no need being silly on a gun bill. Lots of democrats support the 2nd amendment when their jobs are on the line.

Any laws they pass, including funding bills, have to also pass the Senate and be signed by the President. I mean, since we're reading the Constitution....
