Dems move to force Republicans to reopen the government

And he will readily admit to those beliefs. He doesn't try to hide.

While I certainly wouldn't be proud of anyone who was dishonest over his repugnant beliefs, it doesn't stand to reason for me that one's openly held repugnant beliefs should be any more admirable.

Nope...

The only way the government is going to be funded is if the House rejects Obamacare funding...

Democrats don't give a **** how long the government is down unless they get their Obamacare funding..

Republicans have tried to fund everything else but those pieces of legislation have been denied by the Senate beause that funding doesn't include full funding for Obamacare.

How many Democrats are on board with defunding the ACA?

I have no idea. I was responding to one man'e belief that any Republican who steps out of line should be thrown out of the party. I would've asked the same question if a Democrat had expressed a similar sentiment.

Repealing ACA will increase the federal deficit but that doesn't seem to matter to the Tea Party types who cry about the deficit on a daily basis.

If the bill is amended in any way it has to be re-approved by the house or sent to conference, NO? In that case why not confer on the current cr? In any case I'm not sure such a abrogation of responsibility to affirmatively appropriate funds is good law.

The idea would be to allow the majority of the House to consider and pass a bill that the leadership doesn't want to allow on the floor.

I agree with your translation for him. I also think an edited version would suit well here...

False equivalency. Please state your criteria for when one side would ever be accountable for trickery while the other side should not.

A discharge petition is extremely unlikely to work. For one thing, despite an onslaught form the media, the GOP still is standing fairly strong (surprisingly given crybaby Boner). Another is that the GOP HAS actually passed appropriations bills for certain areas, and Reid could actually pass them. He must love Obama and Obamacare more than anything else. Must be the negro dialect and all.

I heard Pete King say "no", he would not vote to support that.

They are not going to succeed at that trickery...What I see happening is that the CR, will be rolled into the Debt Ceiling and Obama, and his band of dictator wanna be's are going to have to give up something to get it passed. Meanwhile, they will continue to panic everyone with outrageous talk of total calamity that is just not so.
