Well, I would have assumed you meant ACA except you said "The AFA hasn't even been passed and yet it has still become hugely political". Can't be ACA you're talking about since what you're talking about hasn't even been passed.

You're right. It was a jumbled sentence. Some people are already in the process of signing up.

But the larger point is that people are fighting over the AFA now, the government is closing down parks, businesses and selected monuments etc. This will continue for years with the AFA always being a subject of debate during elections and the government issuing threats. Closing down monument sites and legal businesses are unnecessary symbols of government power and one which concern everyone. Remember that the opposition can always do it later unless they get their way.

The funny thing is if the results of the CBS poll indicated that the people didn't like Obamacare you'd be all over it. Fact is, you're only shunning this one because the results aren't in your favor. But to be clear, the only reason I linked to the aforementioned CBS poll was because it was the one most media outlets were using at the time.

Note: I found it interesting that Rassumsen didn't have a poll on which party voters blamed more for the government shutdown. Wonder why?

How am I being a hypocrite when all I've done is provide a link to public poll? I never said the Democrats nor the President were blameless nor did I say that I favor the CBS poll results. So, how exactly am I being a hypocrite?

What I did say is true, however. If the poll showed results that were more in your favor you'd be all over it. But because this one doesn't, you reject it out of hand.

You bash me for picking on the CBS poll, then turn around and bash Rasmussen. Go read your own post.

But I didn't "bash" Rasmussen. I merely made an observation. I just found it interesting that of all the usual polling sources that took part in this government shutdown blame-game, Rasmussen didn't do one. Of course, the reason they didn't is pretty obvious - it's a Republican polling source and chances are they know that public opinion currently isn't in the Republican Party's favor over this government shutdown.
