I would say it was really less in what Wendy Davis did, and more about anarchy politics of radicals in the gallery.

Ok, then it should be real easy for you to go on back to the question I asked Tet, and post for us where I made any reference to the bible, scripture, or anything of the sort....No Dana, this is deflection pure and simple from you.

Ted Cruz?s phony Obamacare filibuster was really about .?.?. Ted Cruz - Washington Post

All I'm reading from your post is deflection and a silly attempt to divert from my response to your post by addressing me personally.

Grow a pair and address the post instead of hiding behind rhetoric.
Goddamn right I'm disputing what you said....

Apparently you have no idea what a filibuster is and the intent and reasoning behind it...

Hell, at least a filibuster is more noble than circumventing a quorum which democrats/progressives take pride in...

My religion has absolutely NOTHING to do with my position on abortion...

Since when has opposition to murder been exclusively a religious issue? Using your logic atheists are incapable of being moral or even ethical if you want to blame pro-life ideas on religion and religion exclusively.

Re: Wendy Davis, of filibuster fame, to announce Texas governor plans

Is impeding an individual from life wrong? absolutely yes it is wrong. Abortions are nothing more than impeding another individual right to life. This shouldn't be a political issue at all...

It's amazing how so called progressives talk about civil liberties yet have absolutely no problem denying a human the right to live. To make it worse most abortions are carried out of convenience - the mother isn't "ready" or doesn't want to be a mother period at that point in her life (some men have the same problem)..... If they're not ready for the consequences of sex (or miracle product) then they're not mature enough to be having sex PERIOD because obviously they're not ready for the responsibility that comes with the act...

As a libertarian this has absolutely NOTHING to do with my religious beliefs and everything to do with responsibility - I don't have sex with woman I believe would have an abortion or even make a bad mother...... Sex is fun and healthy but at the same time sex has serious ramifications both physically and emotionally.....

Abortion is nothing more than an easy way out for the lazy and immature...

There is no true reason to have an abortion unless it threatens the mothers health (ectopic pregnancy for example)..

    Oh please.

You damn well know plenty of people will vote just because of the letter in front of the name. Not just liberals, not just conservatives.

So you can take solace in knowing you are in equally repugnant partisan company from "the other guys"? That seems rather...foolish.

A filibuster is a type of parliamentary procedure where debate is extended, allowing one or more members to delay or entirely prevent a vote on a given proposal.
Wendy Davis prevented a vote on her filibuster.
Ted Cruz didn't stop a damn thing.

So tell me, who doesn't know what they're talking about?
