I would just add that they're locking people out of what are normally open air monuments. In other words, they're having to erect and man barricades where none already existed. It's cheap; it's vindictive; it's nasty and mean spirited... you know... liberal.

yep. That's why I asked if people had been there as opposed to the knee jerk defense of all things Obama.

all of the park rangers are not furloughed
only most of them
those on duty are deemed essential to protect the park assets

Doesn't matter - taxpayers funded that park and that memorial..... They have every right to be there regardless... Government has no right to deny them access to what is rightfully theirs to begin with..... They served this country and now this country is denying them the right to visit their memorial for political reasons?

Of course democrats actually believe it's authoritarian stunts like this that will potentially sway voters to blame republicans...

Guess what? a republican would never deny a vet access to their own memorials.... That's all typical DNC sway politics...

Remember - to the DNC these are all bunch of "old white people" that contributed to the civil rights problem in the first place.

1st one included a defunding of obamafarce.
2nd one merely called for a delay in the obamafarce.

Third the House offered up a committee of members to work wtih the senate to hammer out a solution and harry and his dictator buddy in the white house refused to negotiate.

You lied when you said the House passed nothing. You can defend maggie all you want but when she suggests I should not have a right to vote because I don't see things here leftist way she becomes a fascist - that is how fascist roll. Another way to roll is to play word games and lie - and spew BS just as you did here.

that would be a stupid thing for a federal employee to do: refuse to follow direct orders
only a fool looking to be fired would pursue your recommended course of action
you may not be old enough to remember what happened to the air traffic controllers who defied their orders early in the ronnie raygun era. they exercised the same stupidity you endorse. and they lost their jobs as a result

Getting fired would be the least of my concerns going against a progressive script, because progressives are downright vicious assholes, but sooner or later this administrations bull**** is gonna be called out, except for the sheeple but that is to be expected.
