Obama is not allowed to pick and choose who he grants waivers to. Delaying the mandate for employers was NOT a part of the law, yet he changed the law on his own (without consulting any of the other branches of Government) and did it anyways. He is NOT allowed to do this. Just like granting all those illegals amnesty before the election and a host of other examples, Obama acts outside The Constitution and outside the separation of powers.

Nope. You need to actually learn history instead of googling the first source that confirms your bias. Did you see how far left wing your sources were? How embarrassing. Just read the letters written by Germans who attended Nazi rallies at the time before Hitler took power. Hitler openly called himself a Socialist who was championing workers rights. Read the philosophy behind Mussolini's motivations in creating the ideology. The difference is using nationalism as a uniting force to reach communism instead of the proletariat. The same principles of socialism apply, the same goals. It's just a different way to get there. Both are on the far far left side of the political spectrum.

The Nazis actually had a Nationalized HC system. The first mass murders they committed were done in their socialized hospitals. When the Jews arrived at the concentration camps there were doctors there that supervised the exterminations. What evidence are you looking for? It's just History. Use your brain. When did the Nazis rise to power? After The Great Depression which crippled the German Economy. Capitalism (especially in Europe) was looked at as a failed system at that time. The Nazis and Communists at the time were competing rivals. Both believed Capitalism was a failed system. Do you know what the red in the Nazi flag stands for? Socialism. Just read the speeches. Substitute jews for Capitalists. It's never about what these politicians are talking about. It's about creating a propaganda enemy. Diving people and expanding their power. We see the exact same thing right now with Obama.

He's tweeting that "extremists" are "endangering the economy". Dividing the country. (Who does that sound like?) Ramming through legislation that expands his power. Using the NSA to spy on his enemies. Using the IRS to harass and intimidate them.

I don't really care what you take away from this post. I just want you to answer one simple question.

Do you think Obama wants UHC because he cares about people, or because it gives him the power of life and death over every citizen he has power over?

Obamacare is a bad law, but conservatives are totally wrong to believe that their leadership genuinely opposes it.

The fact is that the GOP overwhelmingly supports Obamacare, just as they overwhelmingly have supported nearly every single abusive corporate welfare program that's ever come out.

The gov't shutdown is nothing more than political posturing by boehner and his boys.

What's sad is that GOP voters will re-elect them just as they always do.

The psychology of people lost in Pop Culture is a different reality. Their morality is dictated by politicians, musicians and movie stars.

When Jamie Foxx says Obama is their Lord and Savior they believe him. Humanity always needs a savior. Obama was emotionally propagandized as that Hope for a utopia on Earth. That's why Obama reads and performs his speeches. He's an actor following a carefully prepared script. This charade wouldn't be possible if Democrats didn't firmly control the MSM, Academia, Hollywood and The Music Industry. They control the narrative.

I'd love to see a 9-year-old open a business (that isn't a lemonade stand that the county doesn't shut down by big government for "health reasons" and lack of playing taxes.)

These are legitimate policy differences and adults can reasonably disagree about those preferences.

House Republicans are active ng responsibly here as they are passing budgets, CRs, and proposing modifications to actually deal with their opponents. This is unlike the Democrats who are stamping their feet, screaming insults, and refusing to engage.

This is the only reasonable perspective on this matter.

Well, he is not getting away with, hence the shutdown.

Obama's actions and words demonstrate that implementation should be delayed. Yet, he and his pals to insist on implementing the ACA.

2500 waivers. These he can do under the law, however, that the waivers were necessary demonstrates that the law is not ready to be implemented.

Delaying the employer mandate - this fundamentally changes the law. What is or beings mplemened is not what Congress enacted and the President signed. Again, this demonstrates that the ACA is not ready to be implemented.

Govt subsidies for congressional staff - another fundamental change that was not enacted and authorized by Congress. Another demonstration that this ought to be delayed and, in fact, repealed.

These are reasonable points, yet Democrats characterize this as business as usual, nothing unusual, and ordinary. And label anyone points these things out as racist, evil, terrorist, unhinged, crazy, etc. Why?

interesting poll today as who is to blame for the shutdown.

25% blame republican congressional leaders
24% blame President Obama
20% blame everybody, both parties
17% blame the tea party
8% blame democratic congressional leaders

I suppose if you add republican congressional leaders, the tea party and everybody together you have 62% coming down hard on all Republicans. If you add President Obama, everybody and democratic congressional leaders you have 52% coming down hard on the democrats

My conclusion is Republicans get more of the blame by 10 points, not a huge difference. But the majority of Americans are saying it is a pox on both parties.

It is all a matter of perspective and the only perspective that counts are the voters. What surprised me, even shocked me was the number who are blaming the president. But it looks like Reid and the democratic senate are basically getting a free pass so far. But both sides are getting tainted by this. The one big difference between now and back in 1996, was in 96 everyone was blaming the congressional republicans and not Clinton. Today the congressional republicans and Obama are basically tied for the blame.

As for the 9 y/os opening lemonade stands, I'm sure they're equally pissed at corporations like Coca Cola lobbying GOP legislatures to make cops go after the stands instead of doing something useful w/their time.

The GOP is the other side. On the one side, there are freedom-loving individuals who want to cut taxes for current and future generations.

And on the other (GOP) side are the lackeys (like boehner) who want to spend the country into bankruptcy by waging stupid trillion dollar wars and dolling out billions in oil co. and bank subsidies/bailouts, and then foot that bill on the middle class.

I guess I could, but I haven't been that interested in the governor's races. If I would do something like that, I would have two blogs each month. One for the senate which really interests me and one for the governors. Perhaps it might be better for you to concentrate on the govenors and I'll take the senators and we can help each other.
