No spin required. Slavery was upheld by the Dred Scott decision, and segregation was upheld by Plessey v. Ferguson. The Democrats defended both slavery and segregation, they hailed the court decisions as validating their beliefs, and the country improved when those laws and the flawed court decisions were overturned.

so the truth comes out you just admitted the reason for the release of an unready law was to get some hooked on it so then it cant be repealed

Yes they tried many times. The dictator wouldn't listen. Now they should terminate his golf card.

What's wrong with you taking up the slack? Are you physically or mentally disabled? Or does your choice of lifestyle prevent you from getting a decent job? (I understand the difficulty of finding a decent job as long as Obama is president, so I'll cut you a little slack there)

Meaning he vetoed them all? Or they didn't make it past the Senate? Sure sounds like a dictator, letting an elected body speak for the American people and all.

If he was willing to negotiate harry would have let it thru the senate; don't play games. You are smarter than that; well I'd like to think you are. But then if you don't understand how it works then really you aren't. harry and his minions have given obama tons of cover over the last 5 years - its one of the many reasons people call this regime as corrupt as they do....if a Republican were in the white house the senate would have probably impeached him for acting as ofailure has.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Should the GOP take back the Senate and still hold the House (they will), Obama would over night become a different President. All of a sudden, all laws would have meaning and he'd be following them.

Americans elected the people serving in the Senate, just like in the House. We put ourselves in this position. You can't blame Obama because he has the majority in the Senate, that's ridiculous. The House Republicans have had 3 years(!) to repeal/defund Obamacare. Since they couldn't, they have done the next best thing, throw a tantrum.

Let Boehner allow the House to vote on a clean funding bill and lets see how that goes. But he wont because he knows it would pass.

Why did you use the word blame poor little obama? I never said blame him for having the senate - he is enabled to use it. Any one who thinks they are a leader but is unwilling to discuss / negotiate with a shared power relationship isn't a leader at all - they are attempting to be a dictator and should be labeled as such. This dictator will negotiate with Iran - the country that stones to death teenage boys if they claim they are gay - but this dictator won't negotiate with the duly elected house of representatives. I pray the House of Representatives leaves him in charge of a partially funded govt until we can elect a new legislature and let the people decide.
