While I would normally tend to agree. I see no reason for the Dems to attempt to allow the GOP to save face. Aren't they suppose to be the party of personal responsibility?

There is no leeway on the ACA. The GOP has no honest interest in modifying it, they have clearly from day 1 said their intention is to destroy it. Also, it sets a bad precedent for the same reason that negotiating with extortionists is never a good idea. Let the legislative process take its course in the upcoming sessions, but don't hold the American people hostage simply because you aren't getting your way.

Its called Obamacare because that is the label that the Repubs put on it because they thought it would help their cause. In reality, Obama has embraced the term. Better Obamacare than Republicansdon't. right?

It's more than what the Democrats are doing.

Yes, I understand that process. Read further down the article where it is talking about Democrats are saying they will vote down the bills no matter what.

Guess you don't know the history. You should do some research.

Hell, Fox was making fun of the President a couple months ago because he took the Republican leadership out to dinner in an effort to reach out to them. I don't think I'm the one that was asleep during all this.
And yet you're the one who made the assertion that all this took place last minute. I called you on it. Now you go into distorted detail about how correct I was in calling you on it. Good job!
