Gay rights organization files federal lawsuit challenging W.Va [W: 86,235]

Re: Gay rights organization files federal lawsuit challenging W.Va

The Constitution protects marriage and equal protection. Same sex marriage is simply a label for same sex couples entering into marriage, which is protected. Just as interracial marriage is simply a label for interracial couples entering into marriage, which again is protected.

Apples and Oranges

Re: Gay rights organization files federal lawsuit challenging W.Va

Then you would know SSM is not a right.

All marriage is a right. It is a right of the people to enter into a marriage contract. Same sex marriage uses the same exact marriage contract as opposite sex marriage. The contract and access to/entry into the contract by the people is the right that is protected. There is no right to maintain a definition of marriage based on restrictions placed upon it.

Apples and Oranges

And yet you can't counter it with anything more than old sayings and rolling of eyes. Facts work better in debates.

Re: Gay rights organization files federal lawsuit challenging W.Va

Constitution doesn't protect SSM.

odd can you point out where i said the constitution directly protects SSM?
nope you cant cause i never said that
thank you again for a meaningless failed point and proving you dont get facts and reality.

Let us know when you are ready to answer those questions to, my guess is you never will.

Apples and Oranges

as already proven false, you are factually wrong they are not apples and orange no matter how many times you post this lie. But please don't stop its lets us all know how unsupportable your posts are.

yep many people have commented that this and said the same. its obvious that translate to theres no counter and that post failed.

can everybody feel it? the fear and panic of equality winning and discrimination losing? its making people that dont care about their fellow Americans and equal rights lash out! The writing is on the wall and they know it, its awesome! I hope the op is one of the small battles we win on the way to complete victory.

Re: Gay rights organization files federal lawsuit challenging W.Va

I would love to know what "rights" gays don't have?

Agent J need not answer this question since you're on my ignore list...

LOL I'll ask him for you. Oh, and I'll also let him know you're afraid of him. :lamo

And you don't understand morality.

Of course I do. Morality is relative. This is obvious by reading this or any other thread at DP. There. Now I have proven that YOU don't understand morality.

Re: Gay rights organization files federal lawsuit challenging W.Va

So how about siblings? How about Parent and child? Should that be allowed to in the name of equality? What about polygamy? Should that be allowed under equality?

Slippery slope argument. Debunked and dismissed countless times.

Re: Gay rights organization files federal lawsuit challenging W.Va

The State is creating it's own morality and endorsing filthy feces bag pumpers.

1) Morality is relative.
2) You just proved the above by presenting nothing more than your own morality.
3) You're STILL ignorant as to the difference between sexual behavior and sexual orientation.

That's not a slippery slope. Just the truth. /shrug

Slippery slope. Proven easily and without breaking a sweat.

What's so romantic about putting your penis into a dirty hole whose biological purpose is to hold and discharge feces? Would you put your thing into a dirty hole filled with filthy bacteria?

STILL uneducated on the difference between sexual behavior and sexual orientation.

Homosexuality is a fetish. They use the male body to masturbate. It's an abomination.

Already proven false, easily and without much effort. You, of course, have offered nothing but your morality and opinion to support your position... both of which are valueless in debate.

Re: Gay rights organization files federal lawsuit challenging W.Va

Um, the fact that homosexuals CAN change.

No, it proves that people can alter behavior. As I have pointed out, you don't understand the difference between sexual orientation and sexual behavior.

Re: Gay rights organization files federal lawsuit challenging W.Va

Um, the fact that homosexuals CAN change.

So your entire argument rests on your belief that homosexuals can choose to be straight or gay at will? Can you honestly sit there and with a straight face tell me that if you wanted to you could will yourself into being attracted to guys?

If so, kudos on the raw mind power, because I'd never be able to pull that off, I love the ladies too much.

Then you would know SSM is not a right.

Actually, by all definitions, it is a right. The supreme court has declared marriage a fundamental human right about 14 times over a span of 150 years.

No, need because I really don't care what his position is - that considering I already know it anyways...

J isn't worth the time it takes to write a post. His posts are so ridiculous I feel like a retard for even giving him the time of day.

Besides, he blocked himself. I told dude if he kept addressing me with crazy posts he was going to be blocked hence I made good on my promise....

If It matters he's the only poster I have on ignore so far..

Translation you cant defend any of the on topic positions you have. Let me know when you are ready. Your arguments are its not real marriage, marriage is not a rights and gays already have equal rights.
But the fact is it is real marriage by many definitions and laws
another fact is 14 times SCOTUS referred to marriage as a right
another fact is laws, rights and court cases all prove they do not have equal rights and when pushed to SSCs they have ruled banning are a violation of equality.

after that your argument is those definitions, scotus rulings and judges/court cases dont count they got it wrong based on what? your OPINION and nothing else. an opinion destroyed by facts.

Let me know when you have and facts to support your failed destroyed claims.

Seems to me he left a lasting impression on you. It's easy to figure out where someone stands on an issue when you have already debated them. Back to the OP. What are your thoughts on the lawsuit?
