People voted for Dems that wanted ACA though. So yeah, if people didn't want it, they would have voted all ACA supporters out.

There are people I have voted for that I don't agree with on certain issues, but that doesn't mean I don't vote for them due to that one issue, that also doesn't mean I support that one issue.

    Greetings, humbolt!

What a cool analogy! And so apt, too! : The DNC may have misjudged on this one, since the Repubs now appear to be the ones looking out for the little guy, by attempting to get them a year's delay...which Obama would not agree to, BTW... versus Obama who seems more interested in business by already granting them a year's delay!

It does look as if there may have been a miscalculation by the left. That Obamacare isn't ready for prime time is obvious. The administration is constrained by the election time table and find themselves forced to get as many signed up for an incomplete and unfinished program as possible or watch it die on the vine. I think they're damned either way, regardless of the shut down flap and who is perceived to have come out on top in the short term. How's your leg progressing, BTW?

You are acting as though the legislative process has become obsolete with the election and re-election of Obama. Now that things didn't work out the way you and your ideology wanted, long standing legislative processes are to be thrown out the window.

It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion.

The election has nothing to do with it. Nice photoshop work by the way!

Obviously it does, or we wouldn't be in this situation to begin with.

Not mine. But it sums your position up rather well.
