Ted Cruz launches faux filibuster as Senate readies spending bill vote

How does an ACO relate to a govt. funded federal entitlement program? Why is ACA good for us all, that is the question that no liberal can answer. How will ACA help you and your family? I lost my doctor due to Medicare which I am forced to take, millions are going to lose their healthcare under Obamacare but for some reason that is too difficult for you to comprehend. It isn't the Federal Government's role to create this program, why do you really think they did it? Your states uninsured costs are bourn by your state not the federal taxpayers so I know God gave you a brain, think for a change. What benefit is there to the Federal Govt. with Obamacare?

How about the taxes that would be payed into the treasury by the 45,000+ that die every year because of inadequate/lack of heath-care?:2wave:

Or how about the thousands that die each year because of automobiles or those that die because they are beaten up by their spouse. Any other straw man you want to build?

Hardly a strawman when I answer a question

that you ask is it?:2wave:

You are saying that Obamacare would have saved 45,000 taxpayers yet have no idea how many Obamacare would have killed with the death panels or because of long waits like every other country with total access. Again skewing the numbers is what you do well.

Speeken of strawmen...

I feel bad that this idiot is from my state how he got elected is beyond me. I appologies for the state of Texas maybe they should be kicked out of America. First Gov Perry running for President and now this teabag loooney!

Gosh,I agree.

A number of issues starting with the exemptions. Why were they given and why won't Obama negotiate with the House on more? Guess it is ok to negotiate with supporters and contributors but not Representatives in the Peoples' House. Congress should have their healthcare plan scrapped and all put on Obamacare with no exceptions or exemptions.

Hahah, I couldn't help but look at your name and "Peoples' House." That sounds very communistic for a conservative.

Since you don't even know what an ACO is, and don't know how it's related to the ACA, you clearly have no frigging clue about the entire ACA law.

You apparently can't be bothered to learn, either. So the reason you don't get an answer to why the ACA is good is something you either can't- or refuse- to comprehend.

Generally, an honorable man would hang his head in shame and walk away at this point. We'll see what you do...

Speaking of no frigging clue, the ACA isn't even in effect yet but nice baiting and ignorance of reality. Done with you kids who offer nothing but ignorance. Are you on Medicare yet? any idea why with ACO's being so great that doctor's and hospitals are dropping Medicare? No, you have no idea unless you are told by someone from the left what to think.

Apparently someone who hasn't learned a thing is school looking for attention and baiting. Come up with something significant if you really want me to address your idiotic posts. You have learned absolutely nothing

The People's House - American Government

seat belt laws and various other vsafety laws

Spousal abuse laws

Hmmmm....Were either of these laws written behind closed doors, by one party, and then rammed through the congress on a party line vote in the middle of the night? I don't think they were.

Also, I think that both of those examples are state instituted laws...For example, I don't think that there is a federal seat belt law....

How does the only guy in this conversation who understands what ACOs are and how they have already affected the healthcare landscape get called the 'ignorant' one?

And no. I'm not on Medicare. I actually make money to fund the healthcare you ungratefully complain about.

Again, an honorable man.....well, you know.

I think I would be careful of calling someone else ignorant. Obviously you have no clue that when you reach retirement you will be forced onto Medicare. I suggest you cease with the personal attacks.

Then why did you call me ignorant?

The definition of ignorant is not knowing something relevant. You admitted you didn't know what an ACO is. Therefore, when I call you ignorant, it is not an attack, but a descriptor.

I'm pretty sure I understand Medicare. And I also understand you don't have to use it if you are opposed to it. You're free to pay for your health care out of pocket. Really.

LOL, you are forced to contribute and then don't use it must be liberal logic and common sense. Tell me you will be able to use your employer provided insurance when you turn 65 and not be forced onto Medicare? Becareful who you call ignorant. I don't think you understand Medicare at all.

I don't plan on having an employer at 65...

Nice diversion. When you retire, you are forced onto Medicare or you will lose that "investment" you have made over your decades of work. That is brilliant economic planning and strategy. No wonder you are a liberal. Got it, forced to contribute to Medicare, turn 65 and not get any of that investment back so go on the open market and buy your new insurance. Obama loves having people like you

It always amazes me how quickly a liberal Obama supporter shuts up when actually that light bulb goes off in the head after being offered logic, common sense, and facts. The arrogance of the Obama supporter is staggering yet not one seems mature enough to admit when wrong. You fit that bill quite well.

Poor guy. You're 'forced' to take benefits worth many more times what you put in.

Your opinion noted, I paid into Medicare for over 35 years, had the same doctor for the past 22 years, that doctor isn't taking Medicare, and private insurance plans stop when Medicare kicks in something you better consider before supporting Obamacare. You claim you know all about Medicare and show that you actually know very little. that is liberal arrogance showing up here as usual. Admit you are wrong and the truth will set you free.

Didja look up all the cost control measures I schooled you on yet? Or are you just going to continue arguing something you obviously know nothing about?

Your decision.

Who asked you to fund healthcare for other people (Medicare, Medicaid)? I didn't ask you to. Just who was it that asked? I'm guessing you do it because you are practically forced to. Same with people that turn 65 and are practically forced to sign on to it.

When I am practically forced to sign on to it, don't expect me to thank you for it. Or anybody else.

Yeah, I did and apparently that has had little affect on the rising costs of Medicare and why it is trillions in unfunded liabilities which of course the ACO doesn't control. With all that cost control why are doctors and hospitals dropping Medicare? Stop buying theory and get facts.
