I never said I knew what your specific health costs are, what soiled straw you toss around!

We do know what the levels of medical spending are between the US and the countries mentioned that have true UHC. We have debated that countless times.

If I refer to countries where SP is used....and refer to that as UHC.....and differentiate it from the PPACA.....why do you have to ask if I call SP "private ins"?

Yes and you still are on the losing end of the argument, but you want badly to believe that you can insure 30 million more Americans at a lower cost and provide better service with no waiting times and less demand on the ER rooms for after all liberalism is well known for its efficiency, quality, and lower costs.

It would help if you learned how the govt. works, a good basic civics class would help. Article Two of the Constitution

Aw, yes, we are only 17 trillion in debt, no budget in over 4 years, credit crisis, but he has time for campaign events for an office that he holds. Congress is in session now, when was he last involved in a meeting with the leadership? What exactly do you believe the role of the President is? I can see why you like Obama, you have no idea what leadership is, what results are acceptable, and how to work with someone else to get positive economic results.

Why all the campaigning now? I thought the law was passed, and signed?

The only reason for Obama to be doing this now is because he knows how unpopular the law is, and doesn't want an uprising when the people actually are trapped by its implementation.

You seem to miss the point that he wasn't ALLOWED to filibuster.. This the concept of a fake filibuster. What he did was just delay debate and screw his own party. Oh....and the US taxpayer, who will have to pay for this shutdown.

No, what he did was actually call attention to the problems in the Obamacare bill, no debate was ever going to be allowed as Harry Reid controls the Senate Agenda. Doubt seriously that you have any idea what is in the bill and how it will affect you. Cruz made some great points especially as to who is being exempted from the bill including the Congress of the United States that created the bill. Why such loyalty to Obama?

Actually, I understand the law quite well, given the enormous impact upon my livelihood and my 25 years of working in health care, a third of it primarily dealing with handling the fallout of uninsured/underserved patients.

I'm less loyal to Obama than just aghast at the awfulness of today's GOP.

Then if you spent that much time in the healthcare field you understand who pays the costs of the uninsured and it isn't the Federal Taxpayer thus why is it a Federal responsibility? Doesn't look to me like you understand the law at all nor why so many have been exempted. You fail to understand that all this law does is give bureaucrats more money to spend and more control. It might create access but does nothing to lower costs and improve quality.

You call the GOP awful, based upon what? the results show Obama to be awful but that isn't an issue with many who buy the rhetoric and ignore the results. Please explain to us all please the credible sites that show Obama economic results to be successful? Show me one economic prediction made by Obama that has been accurate?

You want badly to believe what you are told because you think with your heart and not your brain.

Why do you keep on lying? Medicaid is a 50 50 program. Further there is also disability where after 2 years on goes on medicare.

You want badly to buy what you are told so I am waiting for you to explain how adding millions more to the roles will lower costs and improve quality and why Obama is exempting so many from the law? What really is a shame is that results don't matter to people like you. Obama has yet to keep an economic promise or have a prediction accurate yet this one for some reason, which makes no sense, is the one program that will work. Makes no sense to any thinking person.
