Suicide Attack on Pakistani Church Kills 78 People [W:51]

The war on terror is a war on Muslims, only Obama is deviating from the original script a wee bit.

Exactly when did the US declare war on Muslims? Can you narrow it down to maybe a specific decade or event? Muslim terrorist were definitely killing Americans long before the War on Terror ever started.

Also, the War on Terror is a war on Muslims? Maybe it would appear that way, but tell us, what non-Muslim terrorist organizations are there and what non-Muslim countries are harboring and aiding them?

DEA and others have been fighting the narco-terrorist for a longtime now.

FBI was fighting the enviro-terrorist prior to Obama getting elected and continues to work against right-wing and racist groups that may perform acts of terrorism.

The IRA made peace awhile back, so they are out of the picture.

So, yep, Muslim terrorist are about the only ones left to fight. Unless of course you think we should also invade Mexico and fight the Narco-terrorist there with military instead of law enforcement assets.

George Bush labeled the ongoing war on terror, WW3.

And

In 1989, CIA original operative, Miles Copeland, wrote that in the future, World War Three would occur when "Soviet Russia" dupes the United States and Israel into waging a self-destructive war with the Muslim/Arab world.[8]

Mot Americans understand history much better than you. You're probably from some lightly populated area in the UK, perhaps in Yorkshire.

That's hilarious, I actually wouldn't mind it though.

nope but pacifism if everyone in the world plays along which given human history will not happen anytime soon.

Hi Higgins. Not certain what you mean by that, might you rephrase it please?

sorry on my phone and it tends to **** up.

it was meant to say " pacifism only works if everyone in the world plays along"

Oh ok, thanks. I actually think it works for many countries. I like Costa Rica and wouldn't hesitate to retire there with a lot of other ex-pats. They have no army. When your policies aren't pissing people off you have no fear of retaliation which I contend is much of what's going on but certainly not all.

No. The US declared war on them........first!

Where are you from?? Every thread you make is anti-US, nearly every post you make is anti-US and bashing America seems to be your primary passion, whether rational or not. Where does this intense hatred come from? I'd really like to know.

Stop misrepresenting my dissenting as hatred, when in fact it is the highest form of patriotism.

Still didn't answer my question. From what you put, someone would assume that this all started in 1989. I'm sure it started much earlier than that. After all, Marine Corp Anthem starts out "from the halls of Montezuma to the Shores of Tripoli" and it was around long before 1989. 1889 might have been a much better and closer starting point.

It works for countries like Costa Rica because nations like the US, UK, France etc are busy keeping the world stable.

No, but I know we disagree on that as I see those countries creating much of the instability. You must think men are angels. Our founders didn't and stated so and put such emphasis on our constitution and opposed standing armies. The US use to call our DOD the War Department until it was pointed out that that sounds too aggressive and it was changed to the no less lethal but much softer sounding Department of Defence, when in fact it is an offensive department.

OOPPSS, sorry, of course I meant #28

That tells me nothing about your obsession with blaming America for every bad thing that happens anywhere on the planet.

It doesn't even manage to support his claim that the US is at war with Muslims or that we started it if it does exist.

I don't think men are angels its actually quite the opposite. Costa Rica works because the US has stablised the region however if that were to change then Costa Rica would have to change its approach to FP.

What the original OSS guy said was much more than prophetic, its happening. Redrawing the ME map after WW1, instigating a coup in 1953 in Iran, working with the Taliban to run Russia out of the region, allying with Saddam Hussein to help him kick Iran's ass, kicking Saddam Hussein's ass, fighting the Taliban for over a decade, supporting the ouster of Mubarak, Gaddafi, and working to overthrow Assad just a few examples of the US more than interfering in the internal affairs of many Muslim countries.

I'm sorry you missed the post on the timeline of US CIA atrocities in Latin America, overthrowing many democratically elected governments often replacing them with dictators abusive to their citizens and DESTABILISING the region.

That's just hyperbole and doesn't warrant a response.

Name me a period in human history where the world was stable without the presence of a superpower.

Come now, your advocating Alexander the Great and Greece, the Roman Empire and the imperialistic British period as stabilising forces. And you didn't even speak to the content of my post but quoted it, strange.

Greece, Rome and Britain left their mark on the world in positive ways and stabilised huge regions of the world. Of course when the Romans fell we had no supepowers which became known as the dark ages....
