2 Islamic militants dead, more hostages freed in Nairobi mall terror attack

Re: The religion of peace takes responsibility for the dozens slain in Nairobi.

And what would that be?

You haven't seen what some here have suggested they do?

Re: The religion of peace takes responsibility for the dozens slain in Nairobi.

'Moderate', Muslims are probably frightened by the killers in their midst and keep silent for that reason..
No doubt. I would tread carefully were I in their midst. There is a point after which one tires of such horse crap, though. It's the only way the yoke of oppression is loosed.

I don't care what others have suggested they do. I was pointing out that in this part of the world we tend to address militants in a swift and sure manner. We do not tolerate terrorist activity well at all. In other regions of the world, the response is one of fear and cowering by those who should be the very ones to correct and stamp out this activity. You are trying to convince us that we are just like them, only on different points on the globe. That is not true.

I agree and have made the same point.

No. Not that we are just like them, in tactics certainly, but the end result is little different. We have killed far more Muslims since the first Gulf war than they have killed of us.

That isn't the subject of the thread. The subject is of the mall killings. You said that 1.6 billion Muslims should not be condemned for the actions of the few. I agree with that. Otoh, the Muslim world needs to learn how to police their own.

You apparently do not understand the difference between Muslims and Islamic terrorists.

I agree and have made the same point.

Then, unless you are also afraid of Muslim terrorists, do you not want to attack them?

I like that Obama will be shaking hands with the president of Iran today, I hope we are going to steer a new course. Killing one person is murder, killing a hundred thousand is foreign policy.

Muslims are adherents to Islam and I use the terms loosely interchangeable. Do you have a specific point?

They seem to be doing a damned good job of getting rid of the MB in Egypt but there has been so many 'regime changes' there since Obama took office that its difficult to tell whats going on. There had been bad guys before but they had become more predictable. Obama blew it in Iran (unless it was deliberate) but other opportunities present themselves, and the west should act.

There are those who feel that not all Muslims are terrorists, and I am one of them. Therefore I like to differentiate between the two. But if you believe all Muslims are the same then go for it.

Yeah, sure. A new course.

Re: The religion of peace takes responsibility for the dozens slain in Nairobi.

Did I use that word?

You would have were you more honest.

Why are you being disingenuous? Where did I use the word terrorist in that answer to you. I'm the one that stated in another thread on the same subject that 1.6 billion Muslims ought not be demonised by the bad actions of a few hundred thousand.

Re: The religion of peace takes responsibility for the dozens slain in Nairobi.

You would have were you more honest.

So you mean to say that there are 1.6 million Muslims in the world and not 1.6 billion?

Why not? Are not all members of the KKK tarnished with the same brush? All Nazis? All Fascists?

People who value human life over indoctrination have had ample opportunity to leave since the terrorism began but instead have chosen to remain.

Re: The religion of peace takes responsibility for the dozens slain in Nairobi.

You have said that Muslims are Muslims and are 'interchangeable'.

Now what the hell are you talking about. You said to another poster that moderate Muslims may be afraid to confront the radicals, and I agreed. You even have to find conflict with that?

Now your contradicting what you said in 63 and wasting my time. Adios

Not at all.

Not all Muslims are terrorists but that doesn't mean that all remaining Muslims in a religion that is murdering innocent people throughout the world aren't ignorant. Is it possible to look at any Muslim now without judging them to be at least a little bit ignorant?

Re: The religion of peace takes responsibility for the dozens slain in Nairobi.

1.6 billion Muslims ought not be condemned over the actions of a few hundred thousand zealots.

Those 1.6 billion people should police up the nutjobs that are showing them in a bad light.

I can't help but seriously question those 1.6 billion people who claim to condemn Islamic terrorism, while they sit back and do nothing to combat it.

As Christians ought to clean their own house of radicals. But listen, much of
what we're seeing is due to western policies in their region and interference in their nations internal issues. Provoking them helps nothing. But then Miles Copeland nailed it in 1989 when he wrote that WW3 starts the day the Russians dupe the US and Israel into wagging a SELF DESTRUCTIVE war against the Muslim/Arab world. So knock yourselves out, all those who are racist warmongers.

Christians need to clean their house of what ? Terrorist ?

And as long as Israel exist they have every "reason" to continue their terrorist acts.

So should the Jews start packing up and heading back to where they came from ?

We do. When we get our hands on them, they suffer serious consequences. Timothy McVeigh found himself executed in record time, as well he should have been.

Those 1.6 billion Muslims excuse, even cheer on the actions of the Islamofacists.
