Iran: We will never develop nuclear weapons

Because for thousands of years, we've gotten nothing but truth, integrity, and peace from this refined, sophisticated, and exemplary region of the earth.

They haven't exactly gotten truth or integrity from us either. Human beings being as they are and all....

I don't actually believe for second that Iran wouldn't build nuclear weapons. But I do hope that this president's commitment to peaceful use of nuclear technology will keep anyone from actually firing nukes at anyone. We shouldn't be fooled, but we should be hopeful.
Well said.

Leftists lies and distortions till live on, despite the Cold war being done and dusted for over two decades. Why not do some research before you make false claims that should be known to everyone? Marxist Fraud Finally Exposed
The UN?? When was the UN in Guatemala??

This is abysmal. Try reading the Black Book of Communism to see what really went on in Central America. I've been all over the place and have talked to people who actually live here and they verify what the Black Book says. I don't mean to insult you, I really don't, but this dumbing down of the American people against their own country is one of the greatest tragedies of the modern era.
The whole "my country right or wrong" is fine if that's the presentation you want to show to people outside the U.S. But inside the U.S., when you're communitcating with other Americans that's not the way it should be. An honest discussion of ways to improve this nation needs to happen and that improvement isn't going to happen with people sticking their heads in the sand and pretending the U.S. is above reproach. I'd like this country to stop supporting Al-Qaeda because that would be an improvement to how this country works.

Marxist exposed huh? Helluva source you got there champ. A Richard Mellon Scaife's funded front pretending like it's the one that's reporting nonbiased news. That's rich.

Are you saying that “I, Rigoberta Menchu,” is factually based???

Who are you quoting here? I certainly never said that nor implied it.
But inside the U.S., when you're communitcating with other Americans that's not the way it should be.

Of course. Healthy criticism is necessary in any democracy but opinions should be based on facts and with some perspective. My country always wrong doesn't work either.

Agreed.

This isn't good for the Republicans next time a foreign policy question emerges pertaining to Iran. Usually there go to move is we should bomb the s*** out of them because they are evil, power hungry, nuke wielding, extremists. Now they might have to actually comment of foreign policy in the middle east (scary thoughts)

He's not the Grand Poobah. He, like Ahmadinejad, is about the 13th most powerful person in Iran.

The Grand Poobah decides. That one of his mouthpieces say the same thing should surprise no one.

Ah, Christian persecution complex rears its head.

There are so few who admit to being Muslim. People like diversity (well, except xenophobes) and bashing a tiny minority doesn't help that. Christians, however, are a dime a dozen and trolling them is a major sport.

Ahmadinejad often bucked the edicts of the Ayatollahs in Iran. They didn't care, because he really wielded no power.

Well, that and it's so damn easy to do.

So you admit it after your earlier bull**** response.

Oh, what now.

Yes, many Christians are easy to "troll," if that's your pleasure, because so many have the notion that they're a persecuted class in this country. I generally have better things to do than to "troll" Christians; however, I've witnessed how many are quick to take the bait.

Man, people get their backs up really easy around here.

But your question is irrelevant because of it.

Hardly. It was a question that would expose the disgusting ideology that is liberal progressivism. You won't answer because of that, you can't answer because of that. Which is why I hold that most liberal progressives are really just liars, and generally cowards, afraid to be honest.

I do not support Hezbollah. And would not wish for a genocide on the Jews. But then that's hyperbole because they aren't capable of doing that anyway.
So THAT'S why you have suggested the U.S. provide them weapons to aid them in their stated desire to exterminate Jews -- because you don't support them. I'm so glad you explained that. :doh

And your a liar , too! where did I "suggest" they be armed? What I said was that IF the US armed them (which shouldn't be done and isn't going to be done) then they would fight as the IDF does.

The same overtures were made by Ahmadinejad repeatedly. Nothing has changed. It was and is a nuclear energy program.

Then you must have been misinformed in some other school, otherwise you wouldn't have given a 'like' to a well known fraud.

It's not "well known"
