Do you want to argue that point?
I for one wouldn't argue that point with you. But only if you mean that making nuclear energy puts you closer to making a nuclear bomb than making coal energy.

Oh yes he is where ME policy is concerned. He just got outsmarted by the fox for the time being anyway.

In any case Obama will be in the White House until another Democrat takes his place in 2017 whether you like him or not.
Yes, I know. Watching such a rapid decline of a democratic Superpower is rather interesting to watch but there is also a tinge of sadness as well.

He is in way over his head and every world leader knows and understands that. New alliances will be made to deal with the coming new world order and it seems Putin will accept the mantle as the man who will be making the major decisions. America will be leading from ever further behind.

Iran's president Rouhani: We will never develop nuclear weapons

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani told NBC News on Wednesday that the country will never develop nuclear weapons and that he has the clout to make a deal with the West on the disputed atomic program.

“In its nuclear program, this government enters with full power and has complete authority,” Rouhani told Ann Curry, NBC News national and international correspondent and anchor at large, in his first interview with a U.S. news outlet since his election.

“The problem won't be from our side,” he said at the presidential compound in Tehran. “We have sufficient political latitude to solve this problem.”

“We consider war a weakness. Any government or administration that decides to wage a war, we consider a weakness. And any government that decides on peace, we look on it with respect to peace.”

It would take some years of promises-proven-true before I'd begin to believe anything an Iranian prez says, absent a large helping of salt.

They've been saying this all along; the problem is the way they are going about refining uranium argues that they ARE going for nuclear weapons.

Doesn't uranium get refined to a certain percentage when producing nuclear power?

Save your sadness for the GOP.

In about thirty years or so massive demographic change in the USA, which strongly favors the Democratic party, will reduce the GOP to a minor, regional party with no national power.

Doesn't P-Stan and India and probably Israel have nukes?

It's changing rapidly, isn't it? It might be decades before it sorts itself out, if it ever does.
