Where do you personally draw the line?

Does it stop with gays or who else gets to redefine what marriage means too?

We keep having the same conversation endlessly in these Gay Thumper threads. So I'm trying to just know out of curiosity where you draw the line

It is just as rational as any other sex. It is sex, most of which is not about procreation, but is rather about social bonding. Sex between same sex persons fulfills that social bonding aspect of sex for those couples the exact same way that sex does when it is opposite sex couples.

Most of this is absolutely nothing but your opinion. No facts, and certainly no proof of this. In fact, the entire last "paragraph" is easily refuted by sociological and economic studies.

Heterosexual sex has a biological purpose. I'm just talking science and biology here dude. If homosexual sex was rational and had a purpose, evolution would have found out what that was by now, especially since the behavior can be seen in nature, but the reasons are not something we want to attribute to humans. If we add "love" to the filthy act it suddenly becomes Constitutionally protected, even there such a concept would have been laughed at and spat upon by the Founders. It's an abomination to Natural Law and Natural Order. Even if you don't believe in God, there is no denying male and female copulation has a specific purpose.

All sex has at least several purposes. And not all heterosexual sex is for the purpose of procreation. In fact, the vast majority of it isn't. You fail. Your making wrong assumptions about the "purpose" of sex. There are several. Otherwise, sex wouldn't be nearly so enjoyable, it wouldn't need to be. We would reproduce in a much less "dirty" way, like many other animals do. It wouldn't require nearly so much chance of body fluid exchange that leads to diseases and/or infections.

This is great news indeed. When DOMA was struck down, it was very lukewarm reaction, realizing that it's been almost half a century since Stonewall and 37 states *still* had discriminatory laws against married couples. One had to wonder if nationwide equality will ever happen at this rate. I'm still wondering, but it's nice to see the impact of those laws being limited as much as possible.

Social bonding or intimate bonding and pleasure are the main (numerically/statistically speaking) reasons for sexual relations of any type, no matter who is having the sex. The vast majority of even heterosexual sexual encounters are done for either bonding or pleasure or both, not procreation.
