Just remember whose idea the ACA was before Mr. Obama proposed it.

But I'm not one of those, at least not in this thread, so I'm not real sure why you are debating with me.

The GOP isn't going anywhere. While I have basically no use or respect for the party itself, to think it's going to be reduced to a footnote in history is simply false.

Why isn't anyone talking about the "bi-partisan vote" in the House?

And why are so many convinced this thing is going to go down in the Senate? If it gets filibustered as Cruz promises, that means they are going to need 60 votes.
Eighteen Democratic U.S. Senators and senators-elect sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid last year calling for a “delay in the implementation” of the medical device tax in Obamacare.

And what about the Democrat Senators that have come out calling the implementation "a real disaster" including the key author of the bill.
As the Obamacare disaster rolls along, it's Democrats, not Republicans, who are expressing doubts over the bill. First, co-Obamacare author and Democratic Senator Max Baucus called it a train wreck. Then last week after the administration said it would postpone the employer mandate for a year, Democratic Senator Tom Harkin questioned the legality of the delay and now, California Democrat and Insurance Commissioner David Jones is warning the new exchanges could lead to rampant identity theft and fraud.

What will more than likely happen is there will be an offer to delay implementation of the bill and possibly defund parts of it until they address specific issues. And hopefully that delay will be long enough to change the face of the Senate and a regime change in the White House.

Or, why MUST we accept the Democrat premise that government-run health care is the ONLY way to "fix" ____________? Insert 1) pre-existing conditions. 2) Affordablility. 3) Guarantee of life-saving treatment.

Seriously, you need to answer that question. Why do you accept the government's premise that it, and it alone is capable of quelling all your fears surrounding your health care, that you (and I) MUST accept this premise??
Becuase they offered it and the Republicans had no ideas, the thing that gets me is this was a problem back in 2000 and Bush and the Republicans went on a war rampage and dumped a couple of trillion dollars chasing their tail. Now they want to cry foul.

Nope. The lone Republican voted No because he opposes continuing resolutions, stop gap bills like this one which funds the government for months at a time. The two Democrats that voted yes, voted against Obamacare from the beginning.

Yep, electing the same morons over and over yet always thinking that they will do better next term.

The ACA is bad law we need to look over options that do not require government taking over the health care system.
I'm sorry, do you even understand what the ACA is? What it is not what you are suggesting; a system run by "most hated department in the country" The ACA is not a government take over of healthcare. .... Also, don't you know health care rationing already exists in the country? It rationed according to dollars and insurance companies already have "death panels" that decide what gets covered and what does not.

Its fine to debate healthcare reform. Its fine to hate the ACA... but to have such opinion, you need to rise above ignorance...

Ya gotta know the issues to have relevant opinion.
