I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality. - MLK

"All that stuff I was taught about evolution, embryology, Big Bang theory, all that is lies straight from the pit of hell [the bible] teaches us how to run all our public policy and everything in society." Rep. Paul Broun (R)
Exactly. And this case should never have gone to trial either, just as the jury said.Remember, with Stand Your Ground, a large number of self-defense cases don't even go before a grand jury.
There was some mumbling but it doesn't really matter.I've never read a single thing that either of them have said about SYG laws.
Right. Until the race hustlers became involved.Zimmerman wasn't initially arrested because someone (the cops iirc) treated it the same way they do a SYG case -- as something the laws would make so difficult to prosecute that it wasn't worth considering.
It doesn't matter. What good does it do for thew US President to talk about the Zimmerman case? Why did he mention it at all and stir up more animosities, suspicions, protests, etc. The US President is a loose cannon, and a fool.Obama waited until the verdict was announced before making a speech on the matter. He had no involvement in the case. He also has not ordered federal prosecutors to go after Zimmerman.
