Police detain George Zimmerman after 911 call from wife [W:265]

Re: George Zimmerman in Custody After Gun Incident

I thought he had the right to defend himself in the Travon incident. I thought Trayvon shouldered most of the blame for his death. Now Zimmerman has proven he's an ass and he deserves whatever he gets. The guy has a problem.

What are you talking about?

Re: George Zimmerman in Custody After Gun Incident

What gun?

They said he had his hand on his gun threatening them to "make his day".

The other allegation is that he "battered" the father.

Re: George Zimmerman in Custody After Gun Incident

What gun?

The one that apparently both she and her parents claim he pulled.

This time the witnesses have lived to testify against him. Not a good sign for him.

Re: George Zimmerman in Custody After Gun Incident

He didn't use a weapon, or even pull one.

I am not going to present the position that I know for certain what happened in this incident because none of us does just yet. But he does have a history of abuse charges from his wife. Based on this most current episode and that history I see it as quite likely.

It was my understanding that she has accused him of threatening her with a weapon. We will have to wait and see what happens.

Re: George Zimmerman in Custody After Gun Incident

So I'm guessing you are in favor of a tyrant state where one is considered guilty the moment he/she is taken into police custody?

That is a unfounded accusation and inflammatory trolling leap.

Re: George Zimmerman in Custody After Gun Incident

But both were idiots. At least one of the two idiots isn't with us any longer. A partial win for Darwin.

Invoking Darwin in the gun debate. It's such perfect teabaggery.

In any case, I prefer natural selection be left to nature, not insecure guys with guns.

Re: George Zimmerman in Custody After Gun Incident

So funny watching people defend this guy and give him every possible defense imaginable. I'm sure its just another tragic misunderstanding *wink* *wink*. This man is a model gun owner. He uses it against teenage boys and threatens to use it when his wife pisses him off. Sounds like he's making it safer everywhere he goes. I just hope he doesn't pet his dog with it, oops, just another "accident".

Even funner are the people ready to condemn him based on hearsay.

Re: George Zimmerman in Custody After Gun Incident

Really?

Really who of importance did so?
What large enough group did so to take notice?

The fact is, that hardly anybody made him out to be a hero.

Hmmm? It actually appears to be folks like you who are more than willing to promote an uninformed image of him.

I do not understand the fervent defense of someone you don't even know. It makes it easy to assume that there is something else fueling your fire.

Yep *wink* *wink* nothing to see here folks. Its all one big liberal conspiracy as usual.

You give Obama and everyone else this same wide berth too right?

Re: George Zimmerman in Custody After Gun Incident

Now that it's been discovered that there's no gun involved, you can expect 2 things... The main stream media to drop this like a hot potato, and no apologies from ABC for the false headline, or the false story itself.

Just another average day for the main stream liberal media.

Re: George Zimmerman in Custody After Gun Incident

He'll kick that fat cow to the curb, get a hawt young GF and not have to share the millions he'll get for the movie rights with her.
Go George!

Re: Boy just can stay out of trouble

Is it self-defense this time, or is anyone willing to say that maybe he's not the saint you want him to be?

LOL. Domestic disputes are a dime a dozen. Especially when one spouse has already filed for a divorce and the same spouse has been convicted of perjury.

But who knows, maybe George didn't act in self defense this time?

Re: George Zimmerman in Custody After Gun Incident

So I guess he shouldn't have threatened them with a gun huh? Wait... what are you even arguing towards? lol

Yeah lets get the facts, about he was scared for his life? His wife gave him a dirty look? Her step-father was making faces at him? I'm sure he was justified in whatever he did.... lol you guys crack me up.

We don't know what happened yet. It's a "he said she said" situation at this point

You keep speculating with a bunch of hyperbolic nonsense

If he broke a law then let a jury weigh the evidence and decide. That's how the system works

Re: George Zimmerman in Custody After Gun Incident

What are you talking about?

If you hadn't heard Zimmermans wife is divorcing him and he went into her house and threatened her and her family with a gun. I used to think he was just protecting himself against Travon and in that incident he probably was. He has issues though.

And invoking that Trayvon wasn't an idiot who deserved what he got because he was just a 17 year old boy who didn't know any better is such perfect douchebaggery.

You have a link to that? Much appreciated.

You give Obama and everyone else this same wide berth too right?

You automatically accept Shellie Zimmerman's word as gold, after she committed perjury?

Sigh!
:doh

The report has been clarified by the police. There was no gun involved.

There you go assuming again.
Not just about Zimmerman, but about me as well as others.
I don't know, but it seems to me that maybe you should learn to stop assuming.

Can't we just flush these to the Zimmerman area?

I have suspicions, I haven't made assumptions.

Re: George Zimmerman in Custody After Gun Incident

From her 911 call:

"He's in his car and he continually has his hand on his gun and he keeps saying 'step closer' and he's just threatening all of us," Shellie Zimmerman said in a 911 call, reports the station, adding that George Zimmerman was "trying to shut the garage door" on her.

"He punched my dad in the nose my dad has a mark on the nose. I saw his glasses were on the floor," Shellie Zimmerman said in the call. "He then accosted my father then took my iPad out of my hands. He then smashed it and cut it with a pocketknife, and there is a Lake Mary city worker across the street that I believe saw all of it."

Shellie Zimmerman reportedly tells her father on the call to get behind a car. "I don't know if he's going to start shooting at us or something," she says in the call.

She said her father "feels like he's going to have a heart attack."

"I don't know what he's capable of," Shellie Zimmerman reportedly said. "I'm really scared."
