Yes, the CON is a dead giveaway of a follower who cannot look at the facts objectively...

But lets review. Russia blinked, Assad grasped, Obama is getting work done without sending thousands of Americans to their deaths.

I understand Cons are loath to see this anyway but the way they want to spin it. but the bottom line is even with no help from congress or Europe Obama is removing chemical weapons from the civil war.

Cons were so sure this was the start of WWIII

Cons were so sure this would help Sunni terrorists they refuse to see the Shiite terrorists on Assad's side.

Cons were calling planned limited missile strikes either 'war mongering' OR wussy 'face saving'

Cons want to say Obama wants a war to boost his poll numbers when he can't run again.

So it seems to me the Con POV has been so wrong, so long it is a wonder some continue to beat this horse.

What legacy the Cons have left this country is a deep fear of any military action in the world. We want fast clean wars. We got a hot mess with thousands of dead Americans a huge drain on our finances that gained us nothing and an Administration so focused on Iraq they refused to see the economy starting to collapse. Iraq exposed us as having a huge military that was so top heavy it couldn't sustain an operation that lasts longer than a woman's hair style.

A President well on his way to forcing a dictator to abandon a chemical weapon while fighting for his life WITHOUT killing thousands of American Soldiers...

    That is a WIN

But do keep trying to force everything into the 'it's just like' mold.
The way I see it is that Putin saved a valued customer for its arms sales, made Obama look silly for not negotiating in the first place, Assad got the U.S. military off his ass and can now resume his business, aided by Russia's and Iran's conventional weapons, of killing any that oppose his rule. It will be interesting to see what the eventual fate of Syria's CWs is. Meanwhile Iran is getting ready to cross Obama's "red line", again with Putin calling the shots.

I can tell when Cons are desperate- they use increasing shrill terms for our democratically elected President. Fact is President Obama prepared to use missiles. Russia tried to sound all tough in 'defense' of Syria. Obama moves a Carrier battle Group closer and suddenly Putin is Monty Hall and it's time to play 'Let's Make a Deal'!

It seems as if the Cons are sad there won't be a missile strike. Sounds like the Neo-Cons of Iraq. Only military force is strength.

Forgot, one more Contortion- one group of Cons calls a limited missile strike Hellfire and another a meaningless face saving strike... kinda like the way off Con who claimed it was the start of WWIII just like WWI....
Well, I'll believe your take when it happens...so far, we've seen more turns than a mountain road from Obama. I think you place too much trust in the Russians..

Yes, it appears you're only interested in insults and irrational defense, not a debate. Have a good evening...

Now wait a minute here- thought good and loyal CONS didn't want us helping the mean ol' Christian killing Sunni Terrorists? Our military wasn't on his ass for killing his own people, President Obama was ticked Assad used Chemical weapons.

As far as valuable customer, we sell billions more (30B to Syria's 4B) each year so it is like letting a small fry nibble the crumbs that fell to the floor.

No sir, Putin puffed up by sending more ships to Syria and had his attack dogs bark oh so fierce about 'defending' Syria have back down like most mongrels and now want a way out. I suspect there are a few bumps along the path but I do believe it took the real threat of a strike to have any weight... after all I do believe CONS claimed President Obama wanting to talk to Iran instead of the saber rattling BushII did to no good effect was wussy...

And I never believed your take from jump street. Better to maneuver than put your head down and run into the brick wall. Never claimed to trust the Russians, but also never claimed to trust CONS either.

DO know if Putin REALLY wanted to start WWIII like some CONS insisted.... he wouldn't have offered an out. If Assad REALLY meant he would light up the Middle East he never would have jumped at the offer.

I'm betting you don't play cards much....

You obviously confuse me with a "con".
