... despite Kerry's end-of-week ultimatum ... not the 1st time him and Obama are allegedly in disagreement.

Anyway, I'm guessing he won't do much of anything if Congress says no.
I don't disagree that Obama will do nothing if congress says no - but for me, it's just a sign that Obama isn't a leader. When the British Parliament said no, Obama was out on a limb by himself and he was paralized. I think he wanted to do it, but only with others by his side.

That opinion is becoming more wide-spread and is now talked about in serious media.

When the educated voter talked of Obama's general ignorance on the economy, foreign policy, etc., it wasn't even hinted that these policies might be deliberate. Now the the idea is gaining credibility that his policies have been well thought out and deliberate. Norman Podhoretz: Obama's Successful Foreign Failure - WSJ.com

    Good afternoon, Grant.

At one time, anyone suggesting such a thing would have been called a delusional racist in need of their meds, and that would have been one of the less offensive descriptions! Now it is becoming mainstream? And many here believe he is the messiah? What has happened to this Country when the POTUS is believed by many around the world to hate everything America stands for? Maybe Reverend Wright and others were correct after all!

It means that we are in a decline much like the Roman Empire.

: All the ingredients seem to be there, but we're too young a Country to go into decline quietly! America's spirit, for the most part, is still strong, and we have lived through worse. Countries around the world liked what they saw in America, and copied us. We can't give up now because some would like to see us fail.

    Good evening, j-mac.

    Good evening, j-mac.
    Hey Polgara,

This was a good show this weekend....

If your advocating an attack on president Assad you are supporting the rebels. The US has been training, arming and giving other material support to the Islamic extremist insurgents (rebels as you guys like to call them when your on their side, and as I referred to them when your not) since the beginning, helping them in their attempt to overthrow president Assad. That's what you desire as well, right?

I've got a better idea: Leave them to fight their own battles.
I love the NSA. It's like having a secret fan-base you will never see, but they're there, watching everything you write and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that I may be some person's only form of unconstitutional entertainment one night.

Is there anyone here who understands sarcasm?
