Hasan has been sentenced to Death [W:198,239]

How do you know what Christians believe? Do you attend Church regularly? Live your life without God and few will really care very much. But your proselytizing one way is just as tiresome as the other.

Did you really just ask that? ROFLMAO. Attending church is now necessary to know what Christians believe? Really? So it's a secret society and only Christians are allowed to read the bible? Really?! BWAHAHAHAHAHA. Just when you think you have heard it all........ Holy cow.

Honestly, I don't know any Christians who think the Bible was written by God. The writings were INSPIRED by God. I believe most of the MEN who wrote passages in the Bible were credited, such as Matthew, Paul, Peter, other apostles.

1. The old testament was supposedly written by the Spirit of God, through the hand of Moses. EVERY Jew and Christian either knows or SHOULD know this. You are the first person I have ever seen post that does not know what Biblical infallibility and Biblical inerrancy mean.
2. The first four books of the new testament was supposedly written by the Apostles who knew Jesus. Of course historical research has proven that only one of the four authors of the major gospels ever met Christ, that Saul of Tarsus re-wrote those major gospels (allegedly after the spirit of Christ told him to), and historical research has also shown that not all of the four authors were even men (as you asserted, and unless instead of men you mean human beings). And don't even get me going on all the conflicting stories in biblical apocrypha or how the picking and choosing went on to keep the discrepancies to a minimum during the first counsel (in Nicaea). And don't kid yourself into thinking only the Christians had Ecumenical counsels to twist everything; that happened with Rabbi counsels for the old testament too.

If you are going to talk about religion, please at least know about the religion. I grew up spending my days in Hebrew School, Talmud School ever summer, and my undergrad and graduate schools were Jesuit universities; so I am quite comfortable talking about abrahamic religions. But if you are going to just say silly things that are not true then we really cannot converse and I am just going to laugh off your posts and move on (no disrespect intended).

I've never met anyone who thought the Bible was written by God, which is exactly what you stated.

You are wrong. 100% wrong. Genesis is clear that god was made up of the father and a holy spirit. Don't you remember the story in genesis about the spirit of god moving over the waters? The spirit filled Moses and wrote the first five books through the hand of Moses, and then Moses put that in the ark. There may be a lot of Christians that are ignorant to their religion; but we Jews learn this stuff EVERY DAY in Hebrew School. 5 days a week, 3 hours a day; and every summer we spend 10 hours a day 5 days a week at Hebrew camp further being taught Tanach and Talmud. With New Testament, Saul of Tarsus said the third part of god (the son) came to him after death and told him what to change about the major gospels. So he made the changes and justified the changes in Acts. Just because I became a Deist as an adult doesn't mean I don't know all this stuff by heart. If you don't know about the holy spirit and why being filled with the holy spirit (human possession by god) is mandatory for biblical infallibility; then you don't know the first thing about Christianity.

And I see you quietly refuse to justify your assertion of "How do you know what Christians believe? Do you attend Church regularly? ", which without trying to be insulting - I have to say is one of the most retarded things anyone has EVER said to me on the subject of religion. You might want to start by trying to explain that insulting comment; since I suspect I have forgotten more about Christianity on a bad day than you have EVER known about Christianity in your entire life.

Look, if you want to believe that God wrote the Bible go right ahead. I don't think that's a very popular concept, at least not where I live. Most of the people I know believe that men wrote the Bible, as do I.

I don't believe one word of what you are saying. I believe you are lying because you do not have the first clue about Christianity, and so you don't have to address biblical inerrancy and biblical infallibility. Rather than listen to your posts any further I think I am just going to drop this and let you get in whatever last word you think you need to on the subject. I don't enjoy debating with people who don't know anything at all about the subject they injected themselves into. Have a good one. Bye.

Whatever dude. What you are saying is just weird.

So you get your religious education from Bill Maher?

It really doesn't matter what you think anyway. Anyone who spends too much time typing Ha is pretty much a lost cause.

Christians tend to believe both the old and new testaments were written by god and are the absolute truth. Even global floods, raising folks from the dead, walking on water, etc. 100% true and no fabrications. And while we are discussing Christ; the guy was a Jew and taught in Jewish Temples. So he would have believed the old testament was the absolute truth too.

It' was written by God? Really? I must have a bad copy then, there is not a Gospel according to Christ in mine, just the usual ones by the Apostles, and the first five chapters of the Old Testament being written by Moses, with others adding to it. All of which is in a modern English version of the King James version which is itself a translation of the Latin version published by the Roman Catholic Church, somewhere around 1100 AD, which was edited and approved for publishing by the "Church" and was also a translation from various version of Hebrew, Latin, Aramaic and other languages.

When crap is stinking up the joint - it needs to be flushed. And this guy is just six feet of stacked crap.

You too? This stuff isn't supposed to be rocket science. Moses. Paul of Tarsus, the Apostles - these people were just the vehicle of putting words to parchment. These were the words of god. You two really need to have a long talk with your pastors. Your copy isn't broken - you and your buddy are.

Exodus 24:4
Moses then wrote down everything the LORD had said.

Exodus 34:28
Then the LORD said to Moses, "Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel."

"Thus says the Lord" occurs 400 times in the Old Testament.
"God said" occurs 42 times in the Old Testament
"God Spoke" occurs 9 times in the Old Testament

John 14:26
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

1 Corinthians 11:23
For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you:

"God said" occurs 4 times in the New Testament.
"God spoke" occurs 3 times in the New Testament.
"The Spirit of the Lord spoke" through people in 2 Sam. 23:2; 1 Kings 22:24; 2 Chron. 20:14.
