Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary[W:101]

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

Really, apdst? You really expect folks to believe "JackSIN" was a legit typo? C'mon...

I mean, it's fitting; he did commit a crime and, thus, did sin but really? A "typo". Who you think you're kidding? :lamo

BTW, there was no Civil Rights "industry". It was a civil rights movement for racial equality - period. The people who were involved during that historic time didn't make a profit on their efforts. In fact, I'd say the only thing they spent was their time, energy and in many cases their blood.

1) my typing isn't the topic.

2) there IS a civil rights industry, now.

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

He actually expected blacks to work for a living unlike Jackson, Sharpton and Obama.

He wanted people to be judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin. The Libbos have pissed all over his dream.

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

For over five decades we've "empowered" them, "franchised" them, pampered them, placed them on pedestals as creatures of pity...

Of course, giving them any power and a vote was a huge mistake...

Yes, they were so much better as property right? Ah, the Good Old Days.

You might want to go back in this thread and see which side said that "enfranchising" blacks was bad...I'm just saying....

Hey, you said it...not us.

Being on welfare is supposed to be some kind of improvement? Get real!

In case you hadn't noticed, there is no sarcasm on the Internet. That goes for rational thought as well.

You're desperate and pretend to misunderstand on purpose.
I never said anything of the sort, did I? Post it or stop lying.

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

It is very possible that Apdst had a legit typo. If you look on the keyboard, the I and O are right next to each other.

One has to have a brain to figure that out. Leave them be, it's all they have.

Exactly. My post was very clear. Attributing quotes that were never said is lying.

OK, so I have to quote it again....

For over five decades we've "empowered" them, "franchised" them, pampered them, placed them on pedestals as creatures of pity... and for all that spending, pampering and pandering, we have vast urban areas of slums, ghettos, ruins filled with some of the most violent, blood thirsty, savage, feral creatures to ever stride the planet. We've had over 50 years of forced integration. over 50 years of generous social entitlement programs. and over 50 years of excuses.

Not only that, you called them violent feral savages.

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is why there's still racism in America...because fools and bigots like this continue to harbor this US -vs- THEM mentality fully believing that the White men gave Blacks such pittance and subsequently squandered it all away. I wonder what you think of the reparations your kind are still giving to Native American Indians? (Been to a reservation lately? Not to turn the issue against them, but if you really want to know how your "charity" has gone to waste for several generations, you might want to take a closer look in their direction. John Stossel did a report about it not long ago...you might want to check it out.)

And for the record, Black Americans all across this country have worked hard, fought, sacrificed and died earning their place in this land. Some of you folks who harbor such hateful, bigoted views need to be reminded of this from time-to-time. So, yes, marches like this one are likely to continue for generations to come...just so YOU don't forget WE'RE HERE AND WE'RE NOT GOING A-N-Y-W-H-E-R-E!!!

There's no "us vs them" mentality in the black community?

Before you lie about it, don't forget when you asked me not to argue in front of the white folks.

Welfare isn't enfranchising anyone. Kersey put those words in quotes for a reason. Because to suggest that welfare dependency is good, is a joke.

Or you could read it as empowering and enfranchising black people was a mistake. That would require reading the words he typed instead of looking for a reason to defend racism.

I said they were enfranchised. I didn't give an opinion if it was good, bad or indifferent. It's right there in front of you. Stop lying.
Read it again..

I also said;

"we have vast urban areas of slums, ghettos, ruins filled with some of the most violent, blood thirsty, savage, feral creatures to ever stride the planet."

Black crime is out of control and you know it..those guys that beat the old man...the ones that shot chris lane, for instance....definitely bloodthirsty, feral savages.

If you don't think black crime is out of control, just look at the stats on crime. Look at the demographics of the top 20 most dangerous cities in america...
If you cannot find a pattern then immediately move to the poorest neighborhood closest to you. You'll either figure it out fast or become a victim.

You pretend to misunderstand on purpose and cherry pick portions of a statement because you can't begin to address the entire premise.
You aren't fooling anyone.

I'm late to the party here ----- are their aerial photos of the event today?

OMG, not another BM......Are YOU on welfare?

You might want to take a look at Sharpton and Jackson's records.

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

Don't understand why its all entertainers giving speeches. Are these honestly the "best" black leaders we can offer today? Ironic how the only black Senator wasn't invited.

No Republicans were invited, including the previous President, so the idea that they want inclusiveness is clearly false. In fact it is a lie.

The Democrats have taken over civil rights as their own despite them being against any Black rights for almost 200 years, and they will always ignore the fact that it was a Democrat who murdered Dr. King.

Re: Crowds gather for March on Washington 50th anniversary

You might want to take a look at Sharpton and Jackson's records.

I'll check again, but I believe they are in favor of black people voting.
