    Chocolate milk was around when I was a kid. There was still a lack of fat kids. We had pizza, burgers, candy and coke machines and still there was a lack of fat kids.

    How old are you? There were fat kids when I was little (20 years ago, if you define little as 10 years old). Besides, weight isn't the only concern. You can be skinny and unhealthy. Plus, it's a good thing, for later in life, for kids to get used to eating healthier food.

    27. Weight is the driving factor behind these changes, and it is documented that kids are more obese today. BUT, there is zero evidence that it is from the food as the food has not changed. What has changed? Kids are not as active, that is what has changed.

    Even if weight was the driving factor I'd still go back to one of my original comments. Someone is more likely to have the energy to be more active if they eat healthier food.

    yes and they continued to carry on eating that kind of food into adulthood and became fatter the older they got. Maybe if they had been taught about healthy foods and exposed to it they might have thought twice about that big mac.
