Bradley Manning is now Chelsea Manning [W:148]

Why not let him/her out of your sick police state with its sexist bullies? S/He belongs here in our Country. Why do you put pleasing reactionary sadists above decency? Have you no humanity or honour?

Because he was found guilty in a court of law.

It found that he did the crime, so now he must do the time.

That's the way that it works in the USA.

Keep that in mind if you ever think about visiting the USA.

He was found guilty via a military tribunal aka the ****ing military....

He broke no civilian law...

What ever happened to "We The People?"

he voluntarily gave up many of his rights as a part of "we the people" when he signed that ****ing contract. no one forced him to join.

Well, he's to sue the government to begin hormone therapy at tax payer expense.

The Army doesn't currently provide it to anyone.

What the **** happened to this country?

The next agenda of the LGBT activist is to have the military to provide hormone therapy.

You know what ? Obama is going to support it.

You are a lot of sick bullies, since you ask. Let him come home.

I need help understanding your point. Where in your opinion is home? Manning was a member of the military born in Oklahoma. He was serving in Afghanistan. I don't see the connection between the UK, which I assume you mean since you use the word come. If to you "home" means being an innie instead of an outie, then send the money and let him have it. You have stated this point several times so it must mean something to you. I don't followv your argument.

To those who ask what laws he broke, Wiki is your friend. If not Wiki, then there are hundreds of other sources.

You're right about that...

That still doesn't change the fact he didn't receive a fair trial. Military tribunals are tyrannical via their given nature..

It really doesn't matter considering he will probably be out before he's 30.

He's eligible for parole after serving 1/3rd of his sentence, not to mention he already has time served credit + the 4 months reduction (Not to mention day for day credit - meaning his sentence is automatically cut in half)...

No - people at home are not treated like that, as you know.

You aren't making any sense. He broke the law, was found guilty and was sentenced. The rest of this drama is his own creation, and we will have to deal with whatever consequences it's caused.

All prisoners ought to have access to medical treatments. We do much the same for anyone who has a disorder. We don't give preferential treatment of those with depression over those with high functioning autism; or those with X condition over Y condition. It's basic healthcare. And simply because someone's condition seems odder than most, it does not mean that those individuals need to be bashed or attacked.

In regards to Manning? The military dishonorably discharged Manning, so I do not see how this is applicable. And I don't know if her sentence puts her in the same category as other federal prisoners or not ... meaning I don't know if she would have access to medical treatments or not.

I need help understanding your point.
I believe that Manning is a dual US-UK citizen vis-à-vis his mother.

He didn't break "the law."....

I love how snug RINO's can be -- "he broke the LAW."

I bet saying "the law" makes you feel good and euphoric inside...

It was the law and yes he broke it.

Now, on to the OP. Good for Manning. Doesn't change the opinion.

Forget Manning and his "self identity disorder" - the federal government (hence "we the people") have no obligation to cut his dick off.

Manning is without question mentally ill....

People who suffer from "identity disorder" come in all shapes... Some want their arms cut off, hands, legs, dongs.... I don't even understand why when it's a gender issue it's different from the guy who wants to saw off his arms???? Oh yeah I forgot - progressives have a tendency to pick and choose whats acceptable and whats not... Kinda like Martin/Zimmerman and this new case with the black kids who murdered that innocent Aussie baseball player in OK....

Then you should treat her with the respect that you would afford anyone with a mental health issue.

.

I believe that Manning isn't dishonorably discharged until after he has served out his sentence.

I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

What does that have to do with anything? Yes, the "bored kids" that killed the baseball player are scum and deserved to get the boot of the State up their asses to the extent granted by the law.

Now it "was" the law??

You do realize it's easy to say what you said without substance and elaboration???

Now go adore your "laws."

Then I guess it's up to current military policy on psychiatric healthcare instead of US policy?

I had thought a member of the armed forces was booted right away once that decision was handed down.

I do, as do most of us. Did I just have a run-in with an anarchist or something?

Well, I'll tell you what: I have very little sympathy for this dude, he wasn't drafted into the army, he volunteered with the idea that the military would pay for his college.

He swore an oath when he joined the U.S. Army, and he broke that oath. Now he is going to pay a price for that.

I don't see anything unfair about that.

If you can't do the time, don't do the crime. Pretty ****ing simple.

Do you see CNN following the case? MSNBC, Fox News??

What media outlet is following this case of black on white cold blooded murder as they did the Zimmerman/Martin extravaganza (which was clear self defense - certainly nothing like this)...

If you don't understand what I'm getting at here - I'm merely pointing to the fact that progressives are hypocrites and clearly adhere to double standards...

Had Manning done nothing wrong progressives would support his "gender issues" yet he dropped a dime on our tyrannical government and Obama is in office so now progressives are mocking him and are throwing him under the bus.

Get it yet or am I too dense for you?

Bradley Manning is now Chelsea? Does he suffer from mental illness? He is to begin hormone therapy at tax payer expense.

Bradley Manning: I want to live as a woman* - TODAY.com
Many people suffer from gender identity issues.
Probably a tough thing to do being born one gender and forced to live another.
That being said, limits need to be in place for prisons to provide overly generous
services; medical, educational or otherwise. Part of the problem might be that
prisons are big business with private companies providing the services and the
taxpayers footing the bill.

Do you see CNN following the case? MSNBC, Fox News??

I haven't watched television news in about 3 months. So no, I have not. It still has absolutely nothing to do with this, now does it?

If you don't understand what I'm getting at here - I'm merely pointing to the fact that progressives are hypocrites and clearly adhere to double standards...

An original thesis if I have ever heard one....

Had Manning done nothing wrong progressives would support his "gender issues" yet he dropped a dime on our tyrannical government and Obama is in office so now progressives are mocking him and are throwing him under the bus.

Well, fine. That's more than possible among progressives. However, I support the gender change of Manning while glad Manning is going to get a lengthy stint in prison. I see no problem doing either. Perhaps progressives do.

Get it yet or am I too dense for you?

Oh no, I'd hardly accuse you of demonstrating density in subject material.

Really? Hypothetically "typing" - how would you feel if the government broke down your door, threw you in a cell and no one knew where you were except for one individual? then that individual called "bull****" and exposed the notion you're locked alone in a cell???

I suppose it's easy to just judge a persons actions from the outside looking in but the perspective is a lot different to victims...

You sit there snug while the government isn't necessarily attacking you so you don't care...

You won't get Snowden or Manning until the chickens come home to roost...
