the really sad part about this (other than another senseless murder) is that some people are using this as an excuse to cry for more gun control. we don't need more gun control. what we need is more thug control.
I knew Obama figured in on this somehow! good job ...

How could they possibly deny being caught by security cameras and possessing the murder weapon when caught by police?
Wonder if they will have time to be bored in prison?

I can tell you that the family of the young man are very grateful to his American friends and family for embracing their son during his time in the. They are not ashamed.

From my post in the poll thread.

Obviously the family and friends of the young man are devastated. We're just shaking our heads at such a senseless waste of a life. The mind boggles trying to understand what would make kids decide to go out to shoot someone just for something to do. This entire tragedy impacts on so many innocent people whose lives will never be the same.

The family of Chris are comforted by the fact that he was very happy in the US. They are so grateful he was being well looked after, he had a girlfriend of 4 years and the Community had embraced him as one of their own. His friends and second family in the US are heartbroken too.

Many of us are also concerned that his death is already being "used" by those arguing for stricter gun control. He's not a pawn to be used in your arguments. These kids were hell bent on wanting to kill someone and anyone who is that deranged can kill numerous ways. We understand that evil does indeed exist everywhere. We see it here too. We don't have a gun culture here but that doesn't make our kids safe.

    Evil people do evil things.

Realities such as these build a certain stigma. One that can have a lasting impact on the way perceive the U.S..

Aussie athletes ages 16-18 are going to remember this for at least a few years.

No, but they are shooting people for no reason and it probably isn't an isolated incident. That is embarrassing.
It is not very unreasonable that the rich should contribute to the public expense, not only in proportion to their revenue, but something more than in that proportion.

I couldn't write a parody piece on the lefties' view of the Zimmerman case any better than that. Good show.

And three scumbags shot a man because they were bored...

Either way the 'lets see how the media/Sharpton play this' crowd is way off base and stinks to high hell....even for Con rhetoric...
    Ooooorrrrrr, what really happened.
A man worried about his neighborhood called police about a suspisious persons and was attacked by said person and had to kill said person to avoid being killed himself.
Its called self defence and pretty much was proven in court.
Not guilty. Remember that, say it slow. NOT GUILTY.

You're describing Chicago perfectly. This is a Chicago-like incident that took place in Oklahoma.

This would hardly be noteworthy in Chicago.

That's not even thug behavior, that's just - I don't know - there's something inhuman about that.
In our refusal to enforce civilization and social mores upon rising generation, we have succeeded in raising up a not-insignificant number of feral humans, distinguishable from sociopaths mostly in the twinges of emotion they feel after the deed.
