*sigh* Don't get frustrated man, just because you tried to say that the context was something other than it clearly was. I even posted the entire questioning session between Senator Johnson, and former SoS Clinton, and to say that she blurted that out because she was frustrated over her callousness concerning the death would be kind, what she was trying to do is deflect from the question of why they would send out Sec. Rice with that absurd notion that the attack was over a video, and why they would continue to lie to the American people.

Frankly, I can not at this point imagine why you'd be covering for that?
 
I watched it live. My impression was the person question was badgering her and she was frustrated the deaths of the Amricans were not as important as him scoring his political points. but whatever you see you are welcome to. I am not covering for anyone or anything, I am just pointing out another right wing lie that you guys have told each other often enough you now beleive it.

Well, because we don't see something the same way doesn't make it a lie....That is an error on your part, and forgive me for saying, not the best way to make your point.

I have made my point 25 different ways and times. I beleive this untruth if you will, has been going around the RW blogosphere so long you guys really do beleive she was saying what difference does it make 4 Americans died. If you watched it live than read the text, clearly she did not say that. Not by any stretch or interpretation. Why do you keep saying she did?

I am not loyal to the dems at all, but I really hate just made up crap coming from the right. This is a black and white example and you guys still act like she said something else. Find something real to complain about. there is lots.

No, you have it wrong then....We are not saying that she said "it's no big deal 4 American's died", at least not me....What I am saying is that Hillary was saying that it is no big deal how it happened, or that we should be concerned why they did it....That is just as bad if you ask me.
 
Her point was no matter how it happened there were still 4 dead Americans. I completely agree with that. It was obvious the guy questioning her was just trying to score political points. Why doesnt that bother you?

When she sees where it's going she lets loose a prepared fusillade to shut off the line of questioning.
She couldn't even keep eye contact.
It was a bad acting job ... not to mention a stupid intimation.
How about this as a compromise ... she knew what they told her to say was so ridiculous that she couldn't even deliver it with any authenticity.

No, he was asking a reasonable question about why she didn't feel it necessary to question any of the survivors from the attack, before sending out Susan Rice with an absurd lie to the american people.

As a side note, it DOES matter how it happened. Just because it is embarrassing to the administration, and Hillary personally that they were asleep on the job leading up to this, then tried to cover that up later is why she was asked tough questions.

Personally, I find it rather cold, and disgusting that certain segments of this administration, and people in general can just blow it off as "ah well, it happened, too bad"..... No one has been brought to anything much less justice. And no one in this administration is being held accountable for letting it happen....What a joke.
 
It does matter how it happened. But she was in no way dismissing the deaths or 4 Americans as unimportant. When you guys repeat this quote, that is exactly what it is implying.

Maybe she should have said something else then....I can tell ya, if she runs, and there isn't non stop playing of that quote hounding her, I'll be amazed.

I believe most people understood what she was getting at, but you have to admit that she could have used other words that didn't make it sound like she was cold and calloused about the deaths! The families that lost loved ones were doubtless listening... :shock:
 
Your dictator in charge went before the United Nations and told the world it was riot in response to a video. Three weeks after it happened and 2 weeks 6 days and 23 hours after he knew it wasn't - he lied to the people of the world - he lied to YOU and you don't even have the self respect to be angry or care.

After processing garden produce...lots of green peppers and a few straggly tomatoes...I had a chance to go sailboating yesterday on Lake Erie, and I took it! Those of us in this part of the country have learned that we don't have that many days to do so, unlike people in more Southern climes. It clears out those cobwebs in the brain, you know? :mrgreen: How are you doing?
 
Hi Polgara, she could have used pretty much any other words, but...if the RW is really worried about the families, why are they still going on about it, and still trying to make poitical hay? It is obvious she was not saying the deaths were trivial.
