RNC Votes to Block CNN, NBC from Hosting Debates.....

Oh well.....But then you already have Biden up there. So it seems your theory plays out.....huh?

Like I have always said when comparing the Right to the left.....when it comes to ethics and corruption. The Left wins hands downs. I would note that for every one or two goof balls on the Right. There are 15 on the left proving why they are the best at deception while always getting caught.
Nonsense. The Harding and Reagan administrations were among the most corrupt ever. If I'm not mistaken, there were more people in Reagan's administration convicted of crimes than any other administration in history. The left is not angelic either, but I don't see them being worse than the right.

Is the argument really going to go to whether it is the Democrats or the Republicans who make the most gaffes while giving speeches?

Consider Bush II, the king of the gaffes, up there trying to be a down home Texas cowboy when he is, in fact, a New England liberal, vs. Reagan, probably the most polished speech maker of all of them. Both Republicans, BTW.

The Republican National Committee has approved a resolution to block two DEMOKRAT PROPAGANDA SERVICES from hosting GOP presidential primary debates.

RNC votes to block CNN, NBC from hosting debates

*shrug* I personally think this was an excuse to do this
This was long overdue. They didn't need any excuses... these appendages of the Demokrat Partei should have been severed long, long ago. They're called journ-O-lists for a reason... they practice Journ-O-lism.

Just look at what happened when Joe the Plumber practiced more journalism in 5-minutes than the entire Press Corpse. Instead of dissecting and anal probing Obama about his letting Sozialist Speek sneak out (that's what happens when he has no teleprompteur), they went after Joe with everything they had. A most disgusting display. They treated him like the Masked Rodeo Cowboy. Fact is, we learned more about Joe than most ever did learn about our Little Marxist in the White House... and "spread the wealth around" was buried like Jimmy Hoffa.

Remember this idiocy?

And this bit of collusion between Obama and CNN?

Biden? Not sure how he got in, but this conversation with you is not going anywhere (1,2:15 ratio? really? and I just saw Sheik's response to you which is more than adequate so I won't dignify your post with another response) ... perhaps a different conversation, another time MMC ... take care, and good luck in 2016 convincing voters you're right ...

Sure they were.....did you want to compare them to Chicago's alone or with the Entire Country

Did you want to look up the numbers? We can go by state and the federal level. Which can be validated out by Party.

This is like cancelling their debates on a UHF Hispanic network. No one watches those channels anyway.

Plus, it's not as if those represent legitimate news organizations. Viewers there thought Trayvon was a fine, upstanding young man, too.

Personally, I think if they could get the media openly attacking them out in the open, it would play well for the RNC. People hate the media worse than politicians.

My point couldn't be more obvious. How did you not get it? There was no speaker worse than Dubya. Books and calendars were filled with his flubs. It cracks me up how righties try so desperately to paint Obama as a poor speaker after the right gave us two terms of Mr. is our children learning.

Well your point must not have been. Also just because I knock Obama for stuttering doesn't mean I am saying he is a poor speaker. So did you assume that **** or what. Is that where you go off thinking for others. As Not one time did I say Obama was a poor speaker. All I have done is trashed him for how he plays you lefties and the un-informed.

My point was Obvious.....that Bilbo wasn't as intelligent as Obama. Yet he was out doing the same.

What cracks me up is how those on the left CAN'T Handle when your man gets dissed in anyway. The only thing I can say.....get ready for more of it. That if you those on the left don't like it. Than Deal with it or lump it.

can't stay, but can we make a deal? ... if you promise to be clever in your dissing, we won't mind - we might even laugh along with you ... (e.g. "he stutters when he speaks" is not clever ... it's dumb) ...

On Thursday, Cook County Commissioner William Beavers was indicted Thursday on allegations of tax fraud. While the news made a few front pages the following day, the city -- and state -- responded overall with a collective sigh.

Just last week, Chicago was named the most corrupt city in America according to a study by the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Illinois' Institute of Government and Public Affairs.

The report cites federal data showing that, between 1976 and 2010, there were 1,531 convictions for public corruption in "the federal district dominated by Chicago," according to the Associated Press

We rounded up some other local politicians who have been charged with corruption in Chicago, Cook County and Illinois. Since 1,531 slides seemed excessive, we stuck to some of the most recent corrupt officials. And since Beavers has yet to have his day in court, we left him out... for now. .....snip~

This was just Chicago and the Democrats from 76 to 2010.....375 Democrats would be quite easy. Doesn't even count NY or L.A., Boston, and Detroit. Nor any other bastions of Liberaldom. But you're welcome to certainly try and bring it on.

Nah 3 times should be enough. But I figured you would.....bet you were surprised about that bit between the check and gum tho. You didnt think he hid the Southern drawl while plying community activist now, just for the hell of it.

Tell you what......when he can muster up and defend himself with the true diss. Then I'll think about it. Course then that would kinda leave those out who think they know what clever is or should be. <<<<< I guess that's when in the reality of things one pauses, and then looks over the shoulder at those who are standing round.

... that's at least 7 out of 26 ... or 1 in 3.7 -- nowhere near your 1 in 15 claim.

But hey, aside from your miserable fail ... here are some more convicted Republicans ... about 200 Republican sex offenders ...

Long list of Republican sex offenders....

And unlike your link, which only identified the political leanings of 27 out of 1531 (the rest being a mix of Democrats, Republicans, and Independents) ... this is a list of Republicans.

Alright, now you owe me another 3,000.

Yeah well it also only covers 76 until 2010. Try going back 85 years with the Democrats. Note that's just Chicago too.

But we can bring up all those other cities and then you can whine about the numbers later. Here how many of the 469 politicians in Northern Illinois were Republican?

City government experts point to a political culture that's been in place for more than 100 years. This culture dates back to the late 19th century, when a gambling-house owner named Michael Cassius McDonald created the city's first political machine. Under machine-style rule, those in power would hand out contracts, jobs, and social services in exchange for political support.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports that in the last three decades, at least 79 local elected officials have been convicted of a crime, including three governors, one mayor, and a whopping 27 aldermen from the Windy City. What makes Chicago so corrupt?

In Chicago, corruption persisted, to some degree because the city never had the benefit of a reformist mayor like New York City's Fiorello LaGuardia, who had political ties to FDR. Instead, Chicago moved towards a one-party system that made it even more vulnerable to corruption: The city's last Republican mayor left office in 1931. Today, not even the Democratic primaries are competitive—for the most part, once you're in office, you stay there. The weak campaign finance laws in Illinois probably helped to stave off competition in recent years.

Bonus Explainer: How do we know that Chicago's so corrupt? The most straightforward way to measure corruption is to check the number of convicted local officials. Between 1995 and 2004, 469 politicians from the federal district of Northern Illinois were found guilty of corruption. The only districts with higher tallies were central California (which includes L.A.), and southern Florida (which includes Miami). Eastern Louisiana (and New Orleans) rank somewhat further down the list.

You might try to measure corruption by checking the number of city employees per 1,000 people. (Bigger governments suggest patronage-style politics.) Or you could check to see how long it takes to acquire a construction permit through legal means. (Long delays may reflect a system of rampant bribery.)

Why is Chicago so corrupt? - Slate Magazine

Oooops Now hows those percentages looking? Which I haven't even brought up all those from the 30s or 40s or 50s yet and we are still not done with all the Democrats just in Chicago.

Eeek.....and theres still more Democratic Cities to go. :lamo

As Not one time did I say Obama was a poor speaker.

Okay I can give you that he has some skills at giving a speech. But definitely not as an Orator. Stutters to much and comes up with way to many uhs and Uhms to be a good orator.

Well I just started with the 469 out of Northern Illinois from only 1995 to 2004 that Don't Count those Republican Governors or the other minor Republicans that got caught here in Illinois......Course you didn't take in the stat about for every 1000 people. Which by sheer numbers the Democrats have in the cities like Chicago and for over 50 years solid. Eeek some more. :lamo

So tomorrow I"ll throw up some more on the Democrats we will start with the 30s and all those locally around here. Should be another 4 or 5 hundred. Then we will move into the 40s. By the time we are done your 3000 will be passed with just Illinois and Chicago Alone.

Should have learned how to count and in years. But oh well.....I don't mind taking a week or so to drag all of it out. Whatever it takes Right. ;)

Actually, you've identified about 20. The rest is a figment of your imagination of who is, and who isn't, a Democrat.

You still need 3,355 to go just to break even.

Don't worry you eventually figure it out. You cant get around over 50 years of it. Hopefully your Democratic Underground numbers are accurate. :lamo

From None other than a Progressive Site......lets wittle those numbers down a bit just with Bilbo's Administration. Now don't forget that Huff Po Site with the 20.

The Clintons, to adapt a line from Dr. Johnson, were not only corrupt, they were the cause of corruption in others. Yet seldom in America have so many come to excuse so much mendacity and malfeasance as during the Clinton years. Here are some of the facts that have been buried.

RECORDS SET

- The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance
- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates*
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- Second president accused of rape**
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case
- First president to establish a legal defense fund.
- First president to be held in contempt of court
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad
- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court

* According to our best information, 40 government officials were indicted or convicted in the wake of Watergate. A reader computes that there was a total of 31 Reagan era convictions, including 14 because of Iran-Contra and 16 in the Department of Housing & Urban Development scandal. 47 individuals and businesses associated with the Clinton machine were convicted of or pleaded guilty to crimes with 33 of these occurring during the Clinton administration itself. There were in addition 61 indictments or misdemeanor charges. 14 persons were imprisoned. A key difference between the Clinton story and earlier ones was the number of criminals with whom he was associated before entering the White House.

THE CLINTON LEGACY

Theres another 47 more just from Bilbo himself out of Washington. We haven't even got to Arkansas Yet. :lamo

Don't worry you eventually figure it out. You cant get around over 50 years of it. Hopefully your Democratic Underground numbers are accurate. :lamo
Hopefully, they are. At least I gave you names which can be verified. All I got from you is the claim that there were 1531 convictions in Chicago ... a city with a majority of Democrats.

:lamo :lamo :lamo

Hey, do the math ... so far, you've only named 27 folks convicted of a crime -- 7 of whom turned out to be Republican. :lamo Let me know when you can name the other 3,355 . . .

Wow has this thread gotten off topic.

And pointlessly. There are nearly endless lists of Republican and Democrat officials convicted of crimes. It is pointless to argue which list is longer.

As for the claim that the Reagan administration was the most corrupt? Lists of convictions of Republicans doesn't prove that all at. It might be as simple as the Reagan administration was most adament about prosecution of corruption and criminality including in his own Party. Remember, Reagan was considered as an outsider to the Republican establishment and such convictions could represent him cleaning house and keeping his house clean of criminals.

Simply, claiming one party is more corrupt than the other by who can come up with more HUNDREDS OR THOUSANDS of convictions doesn't prove anything at all. Nothing.
