RNC Votes to Block CNN, NBC from Hosting Debates.....

Wow has this thread gotten off topic.

And pointlessly. There are nearly endless lists of Republican and Democrat officials convicted of crimes. It is pointless to argue which list is longer.

Nah, there is only one answer as to who has the Most. He just thinks that out of Chicago Because they had 7 Republicans that were convicted in last 3 decades. That he has an out. :lamo

Looks like that percentage will be playing out here. ;)

Course Ranker doesn't Count all those little Municipalities and Local Politicians. But one can look up there too. For Nationwide.

As for The Repubs blocking out CNN and NBC from their primaries.....they will have to look to stump more. It's all they can really do.

From None other than a Progressive Site......lets wittle those numbers down a bit just with Bilbo's Administration. Now don't forget that Huff Po Site with the 20.

The Clintons, to adapt a line from Dr. Johnson, were not only corrupt, they were the cause of corruption in others. Yet seldom in America have so many come to excuse so much mendacity and malfeasance as during the Clinton years. Here are some of the facts that have been buried.

RECORDS SET

- The only president ever impeached on grounds of personal malfeasance - acquitted, still no conviction
- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates* - we're talking about politicians, not their "friends."
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation - we're talking convictions, not investigations. If you want to include investigations, I can easily triple the number of names I gave you from Reagan's administration
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify - still no convictions
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly - still no convictions
- First president sued for sexual harassment. - still no convictions
- Second president accused of rape** - Nope, Reagan remains alone in that department
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation - by rabid rightwingers -- all investigations dropped with no charges files against the First Lady
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case - not a politician
- First president to establish a legal defense fund. - so? He certainly wasn't the first who needed a legal defense fund
- First president to be held in contempt of court - no convictions
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions - no convictions of any politicians
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad- no convictions
- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court- no convictions

* According to our best information, 40 government officials were indicted or convicted in the wake of Watergate. A reader computes that there was a total of 31 Reagan era convictions, including 14 because of Iran-Contra and 16 in the Department of Housing & Urban Development scandal. 47 individuals and businesses associated with the Clinton machine were convicted of or pleaded guilty to crimes with 33 of these occurring during the Clinton administration itself. There were in addition 61 indictments or misdemeanor charges. 14 persons were imprisoned. A key difference between the Clinton story and earlier ones was the number of criminals with whom he was associated before entering the White House.

THE CLINTON LEGACY

Theres another 47 more just from Bilbo himself out of Washington. We haven't even got to Arkansas Yet. :lamo

Seems you're growing increasingly desperate. :lamo All that copying & pasting and you failed to name even one Democrat politician convicted of a crime.

Look Again.....we just wittled Your Whole National Statistic for the Right down just with Bilbo the Clown. ;)
That's some wild imagination ya got there. How about names? When are you going to start naming names of Democrat politicians convicted of crimes so I can verify your inane claim of 15:1?

Yeah so what....even if my claim is exaggerated at 15 to one......looks like those Democrats still have more. But since you were looking for names. I will surely Oblige your eeeeeeks and screeches.

Here is a list with 45 Names.....thru Ranker on the Federal level.

Democrat Corruption: List up Corrupt Democrats (Page 2)

Here are some more names and we are still not done with Chicago and Illinois with just those 469 in Northern Illinois.

Albert Bustamante, Texas Democrat: racketeering (1993).
Carroll Hubbard, Kentucky Democrat: fraud and corruption (1994).
Carl Perkins, Kentucky Democrat: fraud (1994).
Charlie Rose, North Carolina Democrat: financial-disclosure irregularities (1994).
Larry Smith, Florida Democrat: tax evasion (1994).
Walter Fauntroy, District of Columbia Democrat: financial-disclosure misdemeanor (1995).
Gerald Kleczka, Wisconsin Democrat: arrested for DWI (1995 and 1990); convicted DWI (1987).

As Mark Twain said, Congress is the American Criminal Class.

Oh and this link states 1000 Chicago Politicians.....from 1972 to 2010. Which we know there isn't that many Republicans in Chicago that have held office Since 72. So it looks like the Odds still may play out with Illinois.

It is surprisingly difficult to win the "your party is more corrupt than mine" argument for some reason. Maybe it's like the "pot is blacker than the kettle" argument.
