Is this your idea of debate? Perhaps you're missing the point of this website.

No, its not my idea ... others came up with it ... and, no, I'm not missing the point of the "website." Any other questions?

The former (and future?) presidential candidate just made her most overtly political speech since stepping down as the nation's top diplomat

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ended a self-imposed political hiatus on Monday, slamming Republican-backed voter ID laws in a biting speech in San Francisco.

Clinton said the Supreme Court in June had done serious damage with its landmark Voting Rights Act ruling, which cleared the way for states with a history of discrimination to tighten voting laws without federal approval. She also denounced voter ID laws pushed through by state legislatures controlled by the GOP, saying they were being justified as tools to fight the "phantom epidemic of voter fraud," but really just made it harder for minorities and the poor to exercise their voting rights. She referred to North Carolina's new election rules, which were signed into law by Republican Gov. Pat McCrory this week, as the "greatest hits of voter suppression."
She's trying to lock up the black vote in the primaries. I'm waiting for her "I ain't nowhears near taired"speech she gave at Selma again.

There is absolutely no shame in this woman. I cannot understand why people allow themselves to be talked down to like that.

I can understand her big lies, like Benghazi, but why does she lie about the small stuff? Hillary comes clean about Sir Edmund

Never said that. It is political stonewalling simply to disrupt how people vote so it's harder for certain people while there is no adjusting for the people who generally vote for you. It's really obvious stuff and the GOP have been practicing it for years. There is no protections or gains from doing this. It's basically ****ing with voters for personal gain.

Tea Party leader Ken Emanuelson said at a Dallas County Republican Party event on May 20. “I’m going to be real honest with you. The Republican Party doesn’t want black people to vote if they are going to vote 9-to-1 for Democrats.”

Then of course one of the architects of the modern day GOP quite candidly laid it out there point blank.

What's been common knowledge to everyone for decades is now just being acted upon with vigor by the GOP. People in here trying to deflect or deny this are extremely naive or just being intellectually dishonest.

Its called Souls to the Polls. African Americans often go to church on Sunday then turn out to the polls in huge numbers. These are the folks that these NC politicians are trying to keep from making a difference.
So what's the difference between White people going to Church on Sunday and being able to vote and Black people going to Church on Sunday and being able to vote? People can still go to Church on Sunday and vote, can't they?

not exactly. they are shutting down Sunday voting so chronologically speaking, they can't go to church then when church is over... go vote. whites could vote on Sunday as well. it just so happens to be rather a big tradition in the black community which is why it is being shut down by the GOP, because "the GOP does not want black people to vote." Their words not mine.

How ? By telling them they need to present the same ID they used to drive to church with ?

And how are these churches maintaining their tax expempt status if they're participating in political organized events for one party ?

Sorry, the false narrative of restricting voter rights fell on its face and Hillary and Bill are being exposed as the low life human beings they are.

And by the New York Times no less.

    Making millions through altruism......

Yep, that sounds like the Clintons alright.
