Sorry, did I get her IDENTITY wrong. Maybe she's just a mere Liberal who doesn't reach the level of Progressive? How would I know?
Let's just go with "statist", it's too much of a bother sorting out communists, socialists, Marxist, etc... They all want the same thing. Control and suppression of the people.

Now, what does Hillary care about, and the democrats?
First, they couldn't give a hoot about voter ID laws.
They know there will be almost no one that can legally vote that will not be able to vote because of these laws. Their concern is that those that are not eligible to vote won't be able to cast votes for democrats. That is it. It goes no further than that. You are a fool if you come on here and argue that they are concerned with the poor not being able to vote.

When Rosanell Eaton was 21 years old and living in segregated North Carolina, she became one of the first African Americans in her county registered to vote, after successfully completing a literacy test that required her to recite the preamble to the Constitution. But now, at 92 years old, she faces new obstacles under the voter suppression law signed by Gov. Pat McCrory (R) Monday. For one thing, she may not qualify for the voter ID card required under the new law, because the name on her birth certificate is different from the name on her driverís license and voter registration card. Reconciling this difference will be a costly and time-consuming administrative endeavor. For another, she has participated in early voting since it was instituted in the state. Now, itís been cut back a week.

And suing the state of North Carolina is not? Wouldn't it be far simpler for her to correct her name, which she will have to do anyway?

She is a registered voter in the state of North Carolina who has a history of voting in the state, she should not be required to do anything other than what she has always done which is to sign her name when she votes.

I feel for her, but she will have to comply with the law. Everyone else will have to. Those filing suit on her behalf should be easily able to assist her in correcting her documents.

You feel for her? I seriously doubt that.

Her history is compelling. Why would you doubt that of anyone regarding this? I would gladly offer her a dispensation, but our laws don't work like that, and for good reason. I bet that if the situation was explained to her as a matter of equal treatment, she would agree too.

I don't debate people base on word of mouth. Show me some facts that voter fraud is a big thing in not only in Chicago but anywhere else and then we have a actual debate.

In fact the Left is trying to use this poor women for political gain in an attempt to sidetrack voter ID. You know it and I know it so pretending others lack feeling is just another leftist jab that has never had any basis in reality.

You may as well go back to the leftist tactic of calling those who disagree with you 'racist', 'fascist'. etc. It's all the same hooey.

Its called Souls to the Polls. African Americans often go to church on Sunday then turn out to the polls in huge numbers. These are the folks that these NC politicians are trying to keep from making a difference.
