Car bombs kill nearly 80 in Iraq, target Eid festivities

Looks like up and leaving wasn't such a great idea.

Good grief -- everybody knows you aren't supposed to car bomb on an empty stomach!

Or maybe our being there in the first place.

Can't undo going there. But, we should have made sure things were going to remain stable, before we left.

Staying there wasn't a very good idea, either. We should've just declared it a US Territory.

Well, the Sunni want to get back at the Shia since they aren't competent enough to get rid of Assad in Syria. At Least not without the help of the west. So rather than declaring war on the Shia and vice versa. They will just stick to what works. Killing those innocents that can't fight back.

Wherein they themselves don't have to worry about fighting in battle mono on mono. That which they fear the most. Having to man up.

Agreed, but that would have required leadership. Leaders make decisions, losers make excuses. Guess which one is in charge of the US for another three and a half years.

It's just the religion of peace doing what the religion of peace does; killing people because of ideological and religious differences.

On the other hand, which Muslim dominated country is stable? Stability and Islamism are not often mentioned in the same sentence.

It's hard to get away fom that line of reasoning, despite the many platitudes.

Which any country that has religion in the government stable?

so the west should stop supporting the fake springs....

Which countries do you have in mind, and how do they compare with Islamic countries?

The issue I think became about "religion in the government" the deadly formula to make countries unstable? The latest post made it "religion in the government makes countries unstable in time."

Otherwise I have no countries specific in mind.
