Obama and many in congress don't have any idea what job creation takes. They believe that job creation is a responsibility of business. The truth is that jobs are a necessary evil and one of the objects of business is to create as few as possible but meet demand. Government doesn't create jobs other than government jobs. Government doesn't care about supply and demand. They only care about creating larger budgets than the previous year.

So keeping more of what you make is also a problem for you? Why do you care how much a corporation makes or gets to keep out of that revenue? What is it about liberals that make them jealous of what others make or get to keep? You think that the Federal Govt. should be 3.77 trillion dollars on top of 50 sovereign states that provide many of the same services? Obama has supporters brainwashed

Then what?
Obama has proposed a 3.77 trillion dollar budget so if all the money was confiscated it wouldn't fund the govt. for a year.

Uh oh! And to think Senator Everett Dirksen was talking about billions, not trillions!

It wouldn't make domestic shareholders too happy either, IMO!

I see from your profile that you live in Texas. I recently returned from a 6-week stay with family in the Friendswood area. If I were not a conservative, I doubt they would have even let me stay one day! They are funny that way! :

If you actually read the thread you would know that my point had nothing to do with Obama's plan itself but rather that Boehner looks like a fool by coming right out deciding about it without reading it. If I'm not mistaken that's what righters are complaining about Pelosi and Obamacare.
I have CDO, it's like OCD but the letters are in alphabetical order like they should be.

Houston is about 50/50 these days and has a Democratic Lesbian Mayor who is very conservative fiscally. Houston is like most of TX booming adhering to conservative principles which drives those blue states crazy. It is liberal arrogance that will not allow their states to copy what TX is doing and that really is a shame.

I live 30 miles north of Houston and Friendswood is on the Southside closer to NASA. It was the best move I ever made when we moved to TX in 1992. Absolutely love it here
