Protesting is one thing. Throwing things at people is something else entirely. I'm sorry you can't or won't see the difference. These protesters have crossed the line from protest to assault and battery.

Absolutely not. I would never do anything like that.

Your refusal to cite your resource combined with the officers stating they have no knowledge of any such thing leads me to conclude that the claim is fabricated.

I guess the DPS will need to confirm this, but I have now read several sources that claim that a brick was confiscated and that at least one woman planned to throw a used tampon.

Nota, your behavior is pretty common around here. The truthfulness of claim in thrown in such doubt that the poster will lash out with variations of "it's just common sense," "disprove it" (proving a negative), or "the evidence is out there, go look for it yourself" (that last one is yours).

Your feces claim and the sources for it suck. Just accept it.

No one made any such claim. Security was alerted to a plan of disturbance and acted in a manner that didn't hurt anyone.

The Moral Fascists who want to ban abortion know that the american people have rejected their perverted moral code, so their only hope to convince people of their "moral superiority" is to tell lies.

DPS officers outside the Senate gallery and at each entrance to the Capitol told The Texas Tribune they had not seen or found jars containing feces or urine, and multiple officers throughout the Capitol said they had not heard of any jars being found until a reporter mentioned it. Several officers also said they had not heard anything on the DPS radio system about jars of any excrement.

I would like to think that the women who collected specimens to throw collected their own. But who knows? Some were willing to exploit their little kids by having them hold signs with the f-bomb in them, so maybe it was their kids' waste products. They're apparently intellectually constipated, so perhaps this was necessary too.

I was actually all prepared to accept the feces claim because, hey, there are some serious wackos out there. And if it wasn't wackos then it was right wing poes placed with the protesters to discredit them. These things do happen.

However, it's starting to look as though the story may not have validity to it. The officers were asked about it and none of them could recall confiscating jars of feces. As I said before, if I were searching people's belongings that's the sort of thing I'd remember.

Believe the whole "tampongate" story distortion by some of the left is more than a little lame.

There was an an organized effort by a group of protestors to disrupt the Texas Assembly. Some of the tactics were were somewhat disgusting/vile (urine and feces) while other (apparent) elements were more symbolic (tampons) but still to be disruptive. It is what it is.

DPS acted accordingly in trying to mitigate any such improper interruption of the of the legislators.

why do they suck because it didn't come from Huff and Puff post Mother Jones Buzz feed or MSDNC the information about the crap and piss came from law enforcement that have a much higher standard to tell the truth then your left wing sources

The DPS issued a press release on what it had found so far:


AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) today received information that individuals planned to use a variety of items or props to disrupt legislative proceedings at the Texas Capitol.

Therefore for safety purposes, DPS recommended to the Texas Senate that all bags be inspected prior to allowing individuals to enter the Senate gallery, which the Texas Senate authorized.

During these inspections, DPS officers have thus far discovered one jar suspected to contain urine, 18 jars suspected to contain feces, and three bottles suspected to contain paint. All of these items – as well as significant quantities of feminine hygiene products, glitter and confetti possessed by individuals – were required to be discarded; otherwise those individuals were denied entry into the gallery.
