The top 50 is pretty horrible. I have seen that article before. Listing the Affordable Care Act as #1 is also pretty horrible.

Let me remind you, Obama took office during a recession and today four years after the end of the recession there are still 2 million fewer employed than when the recession began, the debt has risen 6.2 trillion, economic growth is 1.8%, over 21 million Americans are unemployed/under employed/discouraged, 1 in 3 Americans are on some form of taxpayer assisted welfare, there are record numbers of Americans on disability. What is it about liberalism that creates this kind of loyalty.

Affordable care act? Have you checked how that one is working. Stimulus Plan, how did that work out in light of the actual results. War in Iraq ended due to the Status of Forces agreement signed by Bush. I could go on but it isn't going to register with an Obama supporter

I trust you know that I expected this response ... too predictable, but it's worth the laugh ...

But who cares about all that? Its just talking points. The topic is about the deficit, which both congress and the President have chosen to do little about. Obama submits budgets with trillion dollar deficits and signs spending bill after spending bill, and take little action to control spending with the executive branch. Congress cant pass a budget, and also proposes deficits with trillions more in debt, not to mention spending more and more and running govt off continuing appropriations instead of actual budgeting.

Nothing is going to change, and a partisan list of accomplishments is meaningless. Everyone from the top down needs to be fired.

With just a little more effort though a person could go to the us treasury web site and get the numbers. It also shows the "surplus" is a line only liberal would spread because it's just not accurate. The treasury report shows the deficit on 2 Jan 2013 at 16,432,705,914,255.48 and on 11 Jul 2013 (last date available) 16,738,230,684,008.83. Ain't no surplus anywhere in all that debt. Of course it's really going to skyrocket when the full effects of Obamacare hit us but the liberals didn't want to talk about that truthfully when the law was being written and they won't talk about it truthfully now.
Those numbers you see constantly spinning aren't from a live connection to every Federal agency's moment-to-moment spending. That information doesn't exist to draw from. You said it yourself, the last date available was the 11th. The numbers are keyed to a starting point and then the website just mathematically extrapolates them. Based on what?

Estimates from earlier in the year.

It is times like these that we need leadership not an American Idol President. We got leadership during the 80's with Reagan but aren't getting that leadership now when we need it most. Obama would rather take vacations and play golf vs. doing his job of getting Democrats and Republicans together to do their jobs. Nothing is going to change as long as we have someone in the WH who doesn't understand leadership and is nothing more tha a community agitator.

You see, therein lies the problem, results don't matter to you and the question is why? Do you have any idea what leadership is and the responsibilities of leadership? Do you really think that the list that you posted are POSITIVE accomplishments? Why doesn't unemployed/debt/gdp growth bother you? Do you really have such low expectations in our leaders?

I dont think his job is to get people together. Its to execute the law, and deal with foreign affairs. OUR job is to get people to work together, or get people in there who will.
