I don't need to see the future, just understand the present. The basic problem with the position you're taking is that you seem to believe that there are two more or less equally valid sides to this debate. Frankly that's bull****. And again, the complete lack of articulable harms stemming from gay marriage makes that pretty obvious.

And no, I don't think I've seen Ontologuy post any specific harm that might stem from allowing gay marriage. I've seen him make a lot of claims about homosexuality more broadly, but I don't think I've seen him specifically articulate a harm that derives from gay marriage. Again: I don't think anyone has, and the obvious reason is that they can't.
 
Eventually those against SSM will be treated like those against interracial marriage and their ways will be shunned and ridiculed.

Will be happy on that day to see those people retreat to the darkness.

But when you examine the structure of our social legal system, which came from the same folks you claim created this nation from Christian principles... you have to remember that laws are indeed moral principles, which are designed to NOT be biased toward all of those who such laws apply.

Many Christian principles are indeed biased against many populations...if not in rote, but also in practice.

In the end...homosexuals have zero impact on your life personally...or your neighbors...or their friends or families.

Dying out? Hardly. Just because the media is biased and doesn't cover anything against SSM doesn't mean we are dying out.

Not all all. I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. I am a Christian...but I am not "CHRISTIAN". I have found over the years that those who feel the need to scream their "Christianity" for the ears of all mankind to hear, almost without exception are the ones who know very little about the man they proclaim to worship. They are like the Pharisees who would stand on the street corner and pray so that all mankind could see how "spiritual" they are...without realizing that God has little need for or tolerance for these public displays of religiosity.

massive demographic change in the USA does not favor those opposed to ssm

The younger generation who support it will be voting age soon and the older folks who oppose it will be pushing up grass soon.

Of course, there are a few idiots who will desperately cling to the last vestiges of government discrimination, but the reality is....it IS over. The people of California are in favor of marriage equality by large numbers...not that it matters because there is a little thing called the Constitution which requires equal protection in marriage equality. The bigots of the world have lost this war...both in the arena of public opinion and in the legal realm as well.

Um, you recall prop 8 was actually passed by the people. They were not for gay marriage.
 
A conservative court ruled it too. Seems like even some conservatives understand equality. *Claps*
