It's a term used in a derogatory fashion hinged primarily around the concept of the individuals race and largely founded upon broad racial stereotypes.

There was a time where there was a call for people to be judged NOT by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Suggesting someone is an "uncle tom" is judging them the content of their character BASED upon the color of their skin.

The elected official used a racist term, and then tried to plead ignorance. Sorry, but that won't work. If he's that ignorant he doesn't belong in office for one thing, and the coincidence in using the term accidentally is just too high for another. So what did he mean by 'uncle' then? :roll:

People of all colors are allowed to hold varying political beliefs with the sole exception of Black Americans. If they dare stray from the Liberal plantation they will be vilified by every other member, and in particular by people of the same race. It is a tragedy resulting from political and racist machinations, and Black people should begin to realize it.
