Looks like Humphrey almost became another Gore, or is that vice-versa?

Personally, I think everyone but lawful absentees should vote on election day, so any early voting is a concession. I support voting up to a week early. More than that devalues the campaign.

The point was that Wallace's voters moved to Humphrey, not Nixon.

Would you like to see the same # of voting machines per precinct with machines of equal quality?

That's at the discretion of state and local jurisdictions.

I like to call it extrapolating. If it is the people's House, how is this House representative of the people when this House was elected with more than 50% of the people voting Democratic?

Whose discretion it may be and has been to have different and unequal access to voting, you know the VRA thing. This whole sleazy Republican conspiracy to legally change voting laws and decrease the Democratic vote on every level needs to be called out for what it is.

    Good afternoon, NIMBY!

The number of voting machines per precinct should be based on the number of voters expected to vote there. Why would a rural location expect to receive the same number of machines as a precinct in a big city? That would probably cause long waits, especially in a Presidential election, and wouldn't be fair.

: that all voting machines, no matter where located, should be of equal quality!

And perhaps there needs to be less name-calling. Each jurisdiction has as much right as every other to manage its own affairs. After all, that's how Chicago got the Presidency for JFK.
