Why would people be depressed that our country has progressed to the point where these voting laws aren't needed anymore?

    You'd be surprised...
I don't often change my signature, but this was just too over the top to let anyone forget with what this country is up against...

I am so against states being allowed to do things that hurt other states, especially for what I feel is corrupt capitalism and corporate welfare, much of it unnecessary. That is big with me. I have not spent a lifetime on the Constitution, that should be obvious. I think you have.

I don't see how anyone can deny that these Republican states and Justices are playing for an edge in the voting game. I may be a retired chem/physics teacher at 59-YOA but I"m still teaching and learning. I love it. The advances in technology can be overwhelming when you get behind as I have. 3-D printers are just the latest toy that scares the he double l out of me. Today we got a taste at what true fascism will look like. We already have some in the House with a gerry-mandered Country vastly favoring the Repubs. The Senate's version is the filibuster, where the minority rules. FDR was dealing with fascist saboteurs in the GOP. You know them well.
