Lewis Points Finger At ‘Rich White People’ For School Problems [W:178]

Check the OP newb. The subject matter is Chicago schools, and some stupid liberal bimbo playing her stupid liberal race card, so that stupid liberals everywhere can jump onboard and run from accountability for their own failed social policies. Or something to that effect .......

thanks for the wink, but that's pretty it for your post ...

this cold war mentality is so yesterday ... say something substantive and we'll talk ... what always brings a smile to my face, however, is listening to cons rail against government, while at the same reaping the rewards ... most recently the role gov't played in preventing a depression ...

We've already discussed the US Civil War without any protests, why be so sensitive about the Leftist involvement in the Cold War as well? Because they were wrong on Slavery just as they were on Communism?

Of course I can't really blame you for being ashamed of Leftist history, though you can easily recognize it, turn away from it, and start all over with a more open mind. It's not too late.

We are printing more than 80 billion dollars a month. We are out of other peoples' money.

You really do not get it do you?
Again, if we were "out of other's money", bond rates would be going sky high. So what are the bond rates currently?

And supposedly...I don't know what I am saying!

It was a Civil War with several governments involved. And of course it was the Republicans who fought the slave owning Democrats.

The Democrats still have similar programs today but are now run under the guise of welfare programs, quota systems and affirmative action. The consequence is that they have destroyed Black families under the pretense that they are trying to help them, and the records are there for all to see.

heard one ... let me give yiou some advice - market that idea only to the Palin types ... the otherrs aren't that dumb to buy it ...

Earlier I wrote, "Maybe the apt situation is closer to our revolution. The federal government is broken, abusive and tyrannical. If it cannot be fixed then patriots will have to step up." To which you replied,

I do not understand "FFS".

What part are you objecting to? This will not be a civil war. It will be a revolution. As such the revolt of the colonies against the King of England is more relevant. In both cases the people were being ruled by indifferent people in a far away place. Our leaders are serial liars who cannot be trusted. The problems may not be fixable because of the paucity of leaders who have integrity.

It is possible that the Birch Society was right 50 years too soon. Maybe we should have listened then.
LOL...I say it is empty rhetoric straight outa Birch.....and you ultimately agree!

PS...Google is your friend.

Stick to the topic, okay?

you must be a con ... cons say things, but never want to be held accountable ... the sooner cons take personal responsibility seriousaly, the better off this country will be ... Did you read what prompted that response?

LOL. You are trying to change the subject. Tom Paine was right in one area. That is sufficient. He did call for rebellion against his government and for many of the same reasons we are seeing today relative to our government. Let's stick with that for right now. Okay.
Um, I did not bring up Paine...so no, I'm not changing the topic (not like some arguing about revolution in a thread about school funding....THE IRONY!!!) and Paine was not arguing for revolution "against his govt", he claimed to the French he was American (a French allies) when he was being arrested in France.

Can you get ANYTHING correct?

I wonder why people like Lewis hate me so much.

heard one ... let me give yiou some advice - market that idea only to the Palin types ... the otherrs aren't that dumb to buy it ...

You can try to debate these points rather then deflecting and turning to Sarah Palin for some strange reason. Running from debate doesn't serve your argument well, whatever it might be.

I try to be right when I can.

Tom Paine was born in England in 1737. That would make him a subject of the King of England. Given that the rebellion was against the King of England I fail to see how I got this wrong. Do you care to explain?

Once again you should have either just moved on or said you had nothing. I am beginning to think you are all hat and no cattle.

I just told you that Paine claimed to be an American, therefore he was not "arguing for revolution against his govt"....and.....he was never arguing for revolt against the US govt.......and.....you are still totally off-topic.

Again, if we were "out of other's money", bond rates would be going sky high. So what are the bond rates currently?

I am no longer surprised you don't get it. We are printing worthless money. We have been printing worthless money for two or is it three years now at a rate of 80+ billion a month.

But you don't get it. Awesome.

You really should learn to admit that you are wrong and move on. Perhaps you lack an understanding of what it means to be a subject. Given the state of this country it will become more clear as we slip from being citizens to being subjects.

Once again you should have either just moved on or said you had nothing. I am beginning to think you are all hat and no cattle.
LOL! What does this have to do with your admitted Birch Society empty rhetoric? I just pointed out that it is empty Birch rhetoric, and you owned up to it.....and now you are using my argument about your inability to show how I was not understanding what I wrote!

Not only are you showing you can't prove a point and that you are a hypocrite, but you also can't come up with an original comeback!

What part did you think was empty? You are wrong on Tom Paine. Wasn't that the point?

Liberalism. I have heard it is a mental disorder.

LOL...you don't understand the phrase "other people's money" (which refers to govt borrowing, ie BONDS) and not to fiat currency. We have had fiat currency since we went off the gold standard. And if the US dollar was "worthless", it would be devalued against other currencies.

Supposedly, I'm the one who does not understand what I am saying!!!

FFS, this is too FUNNY!

I know how Paine viewed himself and who he was in revolt against. I also know how he felt about govt supporting the poor......YOU KNOW, DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE TOPIC OF THE THREAD.

We are out of other peoples' money which is one reason why we are printing the worthless dollars. You clearly do not understand what you are saying. On that we agree.

It is clear that you either do not understand the nature of tyranny or believe you will be one of the masterminds.

Two strikes...

What part did you think was empty?
All of it, especially since it is OFF TOPIC.
You are wrong on Tom Paine. Wasn't that the point?
LOL....now you are conflating two separate arguments, which is followed by this jem:

Liberalism. I have heard it is a mental disorder.
When you have nothing else, go for the cheap ad hominem instead of discussing the topic....or keeping your arguments in order.

I know how Paine viewed himself and who he was in revolt against. I also know how he felt about govt supporting the poor......YOU KNOW, DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE TOPIC OF THE THREAD.
This was not about the government supporting the poor. It was about yet another liberal claim against rich white people. Tom Paine was not rich.
Tom Paine was a patriot. That has no bearing on the government he was rebelling against, his (just pointing out the obvious).

It was fun.

Topics do wander sometimes. We shall not agree. Fortunately I am right and you are wrong. It is time to do something else.

We are out of other peoples' money which is one reason why we are printing the worthless dollars. You clearly do not understand what you are saying. On that we agree.
You have absolutely no understanding of the thing you are arguing, "other people's money" refers to BONDS. You are talking about FIAT CURRENCY, and the US dollar is VERY STRONG. Your argument is so totally clueless.

It is clear that you either do not understand the nature of tyranny or believe you will be one of the masterminds.

Two strikes...
So far, you have not been able to show how I do not understand anything, but it is very clear you have no understanding of YOUR OWN ARGUMENT while you rely upon Bricherisms.

This was not about the government supporting the poor. It was about yet another liberal claim against rich white people.
The OP is about a govt entity not properly funding minority schools....so yes Mr Idon'treadtheOP, it is about the govt NOT supporting the poor.

Tom Paine was not rich.
Never said he was.
Tom Paine was a patriot
LOL...yes, an AMERICA patriot....do you even realize what you just admitted?

That has no bearing on the government he was rebelling against, his (just pointing out the obvious).
LOL....yeah, lets remove the CONTEXT of his writing!
