Reuters IRS officials involved in recent scandel recieve violent threats

it took a year into the Watergate investigation before Nixon was forced out of office
In four weeks time it went from just a couple of rogue agents in Cincinnati to having the IRS in Washington involved

You might have meant that comment to be directed at someone else - my only comments have been that time will tell and people shouldn't be making grand pronouncements one way or another until sufficient time passes.

Actually, Watergate went from the late summer of 1972 until Nixon's resignation in the late summer (August) of 1974 - two full years from the initial break-in through the cover-up, investigation, and the rest.

These people should not be threatened. They should be imprisoned, along with those that helped them and those that ordered the actions, but not threatened. Of course...before we go all bat **** insane about the threats there should some actual proof that an actual viable source is making them and the allegations of 'threats' arent pure bull****. If the threats are real, then those making them can maybe share a jail cell with the IRS perpetrators and then they can work stuff out together.

Sigh. The Washington (Holly Paz) was involved scrutinizing the organizations after Cincinnati targeted them.

You don't have your priorities in line with the success of this nation. The US is at the brink of total failure. We have a corrupt government. You should be thinking about what THAT is going to "morph" into. Your comment is indicative of your failure as a citizen because you are trying to take the focus off the issue at hand at a critical time where if we don't pounce on this, we're going to be F---ed. We cannot afford to be complacent. You or I would be in jail. Lerner still has access to the IRS computer system. She could be covering up other crimes. Remove HER and those involved and the distrust goes away along with your concern of morphing hatred.
